I was pleased that I was able to be helped immediately.  My technician did a good job but I needed to instruct her how to trim my nails to avoid an ingrown toenail. She then gave a “massage” that was more like an application of lotion. Things I didn’t like were that some of the technicians came to my station eating food. Also 3 technicians were walking around waving wads of cash and were visibly counting their money. There is an extra charge for using cards so cash is preferred and we can all surmise what percent of that cash is reported to the IRS. This was a second chance for this business but I don’t think I will be giving them a third.Service:&nbsp;Pedicure

Went in with a special request and they were very accommodating. The best set of nails and color I've ever had.

I’ve never been anywhere that mess up my pedicure. I did a shimmer white and tried not to choose an Esse so it’s not thin and they still didn’t do a great job on my polish. My manicure doesn’t look great either. I honestly could have done a better job myself. I went to this place based on the good reviews however I got quite disappointed.

I have been going to Modern for my Acrylics for the past couple months and they have always done an outstanding job.  Came in earlier this week after letting my nails grow out for way too long and had a new set done by Tiffany . She was quick, did an impeccable job and gave me a new set of flawless matte black coffin nails. Will be coming back soon.

Tiffani always does an amazing job I always do bio gel hard. Gel been coming to this place because my nails never used to last till I came to moder nails there always do an amazing job thanks guys!!!Service:&nbsp;Nail art

Normally, I drive all the way into Long Beach to get my nails done because my husband went to school out there. But I didn’t want to drive that far for just my nails after he graduated, so I tried the Nail lounge twice. The first time, the woman who did my nails cut my cuticle so bad when filing, she left indents around my finger where she filed. The shape was bad, the paint job was bad, a few of my nails were pointing upwards. I started going to the place in Long Beach, but after the husband graduated I tried Nail lounge again. The nails looked great after requesting someone I knew was good recommended and they looked great, but he didn’t file my natural mail on the sides so they began to lift immediately. While at work less than a week later, one of my nails cracked in half, without me even noticing or feeling it. I am VERY careful with my nails, I don’t slam them into doors, I don’t press buttons with them, nothing. So I called and they got me in which was nice. Until I had to pay almost 10 dollars to get one nail  fixed, that I didn’t break! Not to mention there is still glue around my nails. I’ve been getting acrylics for YEARS, and I have NEVER had a nail break in half the way this one did. And if I ever had an issue with my nails less than a WEEK after I got them done, I was never CHARGED for it. I’m very disappointed and will be making the drive back to Long Beach from now on. I never leave bad reviews, but this was not right.

I went in for a manicure, the nail tech rushed through my manicure, didn’t prep my nails and started applying lotion on my hands. I’ve been getting my nails done for years, that’s typically the last step. I had a gel polish removed and I could still see bits of my old nail color before she began applying the new color. She didn’t check with me at all about the shape I wanted. When I went to the dryer, one of my nails got smudged. She came over and “fixed it”. After a few minutes, another nail tech came over and he saw my nail and completely removed the nail polish and said “I’m not going to let you walk out of here with your nail looking like that.” I appreciated that he did that but why was it okay for the nail tech before to leave it like that. I wanted this place to be my new nail place because I just moved back to town but that’s not going to happen.Service:&nbsp;Manicure
