The Mount Holly Fire District and it's member companies have proudly provided fire services to Mount Holly and surrounding communities since 1752.
The Mount Holly Fire District No.1 is an all volunteer firefighting organization whose roots date to 1752. The District is home to the Nation's Oldest Active Volunteer Fire Company in Continuous Service, the Relief Fire Company No.1, and is proud to continue the richest traditions of public service. Our members primarily serve the 10,000 residents located within the 2.9 square mile borders of Mount Holly Township. Located within the Township, the District is also the primary fire protection entity of the administrative and judicial arms of the County of Burlington, Burlington County College, and Virtua Memorial Hospital.
The Mission of the Mount Holly Fire Department is to promote life safety for the residents and visitors of Mount Holly Township through the effective delivery of community education, code enforcement, and emergency services. We are committed to serving our community with professionalism, excellence, and devotion to duty.
