Mountaineer Skyride

The Skyride at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs is an attraction that offers a unique and breathtaking view of the surrounding area. Overall, the Skyride at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is an excellent addition to the park, and one that should not be missed. Ride was smooth even though the wind picked up. Not much to do at the top but we were eager to get back to the zoo fun anyway!

Spring 2023 There wasn't much to do at the top of the sky ride. There is a yurt for sitting, and a larger style "yurt" with a small amount of rock-climbing holds. The playground was closed and sectioned off, likely due to lack of coverage on the mountain. It looks like they're working on expanding it. Personally, a seat area to enjoy the mountain view would be excellent. Lounging, an ice cream shop, and things to spot out for kids on the ride up to talk about at the top for a small bauble or stamp if they get them right

Wonderful zoo, lots of walking up and down great exercise.
