Scammed me I told them exactly over the phone the services I needed and asked if they would be able to do it and the location of the teeth I needed pulled. The receptionist assured me they could do it all in the same day as I’ve been on a lot of pain. Once I got there they charged me 200 for a consultation and said they don’t pull teeth after I told them multiple times what I needed. I would have just went somewhere else, why lie to me over the phone. Don’t go here. They just want to take your money.

I just had a first appointment for a cleaning and exam. Booking was easy, the hygienist and dentist were prompt, and I felt that I was getting honest care. The space is modern, and the front desk staff was polite. Will return and floss more.

Hello! I visited MouthPeace Dental in 2016 and had the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. The people were pushy, conning me out of hundreds of dollars I didn't have as a young teacher with student loan debt. I felt coerced into doing a "deep clean", which turns out I didn't need. I have already paid more than what I believe to be fair, and I will not be paying any more money to people who take advantage of patients.
I can't stress enough how much I regret working at this dental office. The management here is a train wreck. The first manager Ty didn't even stay for long and was replaced with Darren immediately after her departure... Which shows how replaceable you are as an employee here From the moment I stepped through the door, it was clear that this place was a recipe for disaster. Here's why I would never recommend anyone to work at this dental office: Unorganized Management: The management at this dental office is so unorganized that it's mind-boggling. Appointments are sometimes double-booked, and in this case, there were no assistants to help with hygiene when they're double booking patients leading to chaos in the clinic. There's no clear workflow, and nobody seems to know what they're doing. Lack of Communication: Communication is virtually nonexistent in the management/leadership to staff hygiene and assistants. You're left to fend for yourself, and good luck trying to get any guidance or support from the management. You're treated like a you're in a corporate office, which makes sense since Trish HR stepped in coming from a world of corporate dentistry. Micromanagement: Not to mention the BILLIONS of security cameras throughout this office. Even in the lunch room/break room. They are literally watching your every move, and we have no privacy here. The lack of privacy and having video recording present in patient operatories most is definitely a HIPAA violation. No Support System: There's absolutely no support system in place for employees. You're expected to figure things out on your own, and if you make a mistake, they're quick to point fingers rather than offering constructive help. Zero Appreciation: Working here, you will never feel appreciated. Never have I heard an appreciation from the dentist nor manager, at this office. No matter how hard you work or how much effort you put in, your contributions go unnoticed. It's demoralizing and disheartening. High Turnover of Staff: It's not surprising that there's a high turnover of staff here. From the front desk people, to office managers, assistants, and hygienists that worked here. People come and go like a revolving door because they can't stand the toxic work environment created by the management. Begging for Decent Pay: Negotiating a decent salary here is like pulling teeth – pun intended. You practically have to beg for a fair wage, and even then, you might not get it. They may even take months to consider. The pay is insultingly low for the amount of stress and chaos you endure. ESPECIALLY in the Atlanta area where pay should be $50+ where this office paid me $40/hr. Really cheap dentist and HR... Which leads to... Clocking Out When a Patient Cancels: Perhaps the most ridiculous policy of all is the requirement to clock out when a patient cancels. This is actually not legal, and means you lose out on pay simply because of circumstances beyond your control. Unwilling to Accommodate: If you have any personal needs or requests, don't bother bringing them up with the management. They are completely unwilling to accommodate any reasonable requests and seem to have no empathy for their employees' well-being. In summary, working at this dental office is a nightmare. The management is a complete mess, the lack of communication is frustrating, and you'll never feel appreciated or supported. The turnover of staff speaks volumes about the terrible working conditions, and the low pay is insulting. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this dental office employer. Your sanity and career will thank you.
This office is extremely unorganized and unprofessional. All the 4 and 5 reviews are fake. The dentist here is unprofessional, she always seemed to find another issue to charge me for. Things that didn't come up in the consultation, everytime I saw her it was something new. The last straw was when she claimed she gave me "medicine", then charged me $60 on top of the $500 I already paid. It's a money grab, the denist lacks interagity. The staff is always changing here. Do not come here.
I was greatly impressed with the friendliness of the staff when I first arrived. I wasn’t going to get my hopes up too soon though. There were a lot of other t expectations that I had. Mouth Peace met and exceeded my expectations with their professionalism, knowledge, and proficiency. They explained everything to me and even taught me some things that I did not know in the many years that I’ve been going to the dentist. I am more than pleased and have already referred two people to the practice!
Once again, Dr Summerlin and his staff are on the JOB! I had a routine scheduled cleaning and my normal hygienist was out sick. Isis stepped in and took excellent care of me! I've always had aniexty when going to the DO, or any Dr office to be honest. But since moving to the area, the staff there make me look forward to my next visit!
