Mrs. Wengers

I've lived here in Sanford for 5 years and this is the first time I've heard of this place. My sister and my Great nephew recommended it and had been there before. Very very very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. I wish I had asked our servers name so I could give her credit for such good service. Oh yes and the food was great. I definitely recommend the onion rings!

I've been eating here since I was a kid; my whole family enjoys the hospitality of and has worked at Mrs. Wenger's restaurant. In my opinion, they have the best sweet tea, best buttered toast, best potatoes and eggs, and best fried chicken. I haven't tried anything yet that I haven't liked. It's also the cheapest place in Sanford to get a plate of grits, fatback, or homemade redeye gravy, not to mention the outstanding service and vintage atmosphere. As an adult, I come here at least once a week, and I think back at how much this place has made an impact on the history of Sanford.

I attended a woman's breakfast, food, fun, and fellowship was pleasing for the time. Whenever God is the topic I'm all in. Heart group of women and will do it again. This place is only open during breakfast hours. Loved the experience.Food: 4/5

This place was great and although I only had a salad I can't wait to come here for breakfast. The service was fast and A local joint filled with locals. I think Mrs. Wegner was in the resturant and I loved the little story behind the menus. I enjoy supporting local businesses such as these and will definitely be coming back here with my family. My son ordered burger and fries and ate everything, which is rare for him. Kid-friendliness: The waitress was really nice to my son and brought our food our quickly. Parking: Plenty of parking Wheelchair accessibility: On the first floor with a ramp. There were several elderly folks in the resturant.
