The 65-acre cemetery at Mt. View was established in 1907 to serve the ever-growing needs of the area. More than 80,000 interments and entombments have taken place at the property, and we have reserved six acres of property for future development. In 1994, Mt. View Mortuary was constructed. A 14,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, the building includes two private state rooms with an adjoining hospitality area featuring a fireplace to add comfort. Our chapel, one of the largest in the area, can accommodate 250 guests and offers private seating for the family. Multimedia technology was installed to facilitate the Everlasting Memorials� that can be created to memorialize a loved one. A special addition in 2008 was that of the Hinze Hall, named for the Hinze family who owned the cemetery prior to the current owner. The hall can accommodate up to 80 guests for a reception following services, and Mt. View offers all catering and set-up services. The staff at Mt.
