This place does not care at all about you. They canceled my appt without telling me until I get there, made me wait 3 hours to write up a refill on a prescription that they never filled. a month later come to find it was never filled called it in right away with 2 pills left, no response, called again next day pretty much said they will get to it when they get to it. now today going into severe withdraw on the medication extremely sick and they still said they will get to it when they can! do not go here!!!
It's almost impossible to get services started in a swift manner. They are severely understaffed and it shows with rushed appointments even though patients are often left waiting well after their appointment time, rude receptionists, and lack of communication with patients. As Parkview continues it's monopolization of healthcare in this area, it's only going to get worse. Parkview needs to treat patients like people and not just a number.
I'd leave a 0 star review if possible. Been battling mental illness for 4 years. I actually got stable/stayed out of the hospital for 3 straight years- Until my Park Center NP took 1-2 weeks to refill my psych meds. 5 refill requests, couple calls- Nothing. Had to Battle suicidal/homicidal thoughts without my meds for a week. Finally had to go to the hospital. Admitted for 8 hours and sent home with my meds refilled. 10,000 dollar medical bill because my NP couldn't refill my meds.
This place is ridiculously bad. Some jerk that works there named Jose apparently canceled our appointment that we had today. Nobody requested it to be canceled. Now it’s three months before we can see our provider. This is literally the worst place we’ve ever dealt with. Stay away.
Will only accept you if you're going to hurt yourself or someone else and will only offer hydroxyzine for anxiety it's no wonder why the mental health is insane in this country it starts at the quality of care
I would give 0 stars of I could. My son 12 was taking counseling, at the initial evaluation the counselor Liaamia M. wanted my son to see someone who she thought was more qualified. He seen Erin maybe 4 times at the most, she called that she had to reschedule his appointment and then wouldn't even be at the building for the follow up she scheduled. Erin left then my son got transferred back to Liaamia M. where she made it clear she didn't want to see my son because he seems fineeven though this is only the 2nd time she had talked/seen him. When I requested that he transfer to a different counselor Liaamia M. called me and kept INSISTING that no one in the office will be comfortable meeting with him because he seemed fine and he didn't want to be there. I felt pressured to cancel his medical appointmentwhich he waited for over 6 months and find him another facility to help him because I feel that Liaamia M. would purposely go to the other counselor's and tell them anything for them to not see my son out of spite. Just plain horrible. The only good thing is the receptionist was very kind and understanding.
No one answers the phones except the one person who is not able to help me with my situation. Very unprofessional, the first lady told lies just to get me off the phone, and waited 3 weeks and not even an update on my Mychart. Just a whole lot of stalling and pure laziness while dealing with these people. Do not go here if you aren’t required to!
Prescribed a medication to someone I know, a medication which must be tapered if stopped. Park Center cancelled appointments on them multiple times, and then refused to refill the medication over the phone because they hadn’t been seen. This is unacceptable and I would discourage anyone from seeking care here — they may well leave you worse off due to their incompetence.
My husband was having severe panic attacks and Suicidal Thoughts. Our doctor referred him to Park Center and it took them 5 months to set up his care. After they called and did the initial interview appointment it took another three to four weeks before he actually got a counselor. He had one counseling session then they canceled the next two appointments last minute with no notice and the last appointment she never called. So in nine months time they managed one appointment. Mental health is a serious issue and they could get somebody killed by not providing necessary services. The counselor was nice for the one appointment she showed up, but that's not enough for me to recommend anyone to ever go to this place.
The building is so dreary that if you weren't depressed when you got there you would be when you left. The NP seeing me however was kind and seemed interested in my problems.
