Recently my husband was diagnosed as a diabetic due to needing to have most of his pancreas removed. The staff have been very kind and helpful getting us the tools and medication he needs. Even so far as to suggesting and changing the glucose testing device and strips he needs. Yes there a bit of a wait BUT it's worth the wait when they care for the patient
Normal I would have given this pharmacy a 5 star but today I was sooo sooo upset. Two weeks ago I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions and one medication was out and I was told that the Pharmacy would notify me once medicine came in. No problem, a week in half later I called on Monday to see if the medicine had came in, the gentleman apologized for me not getting notified and said yes, and I could come in that afternoon to pick it up, I told him I couldn’t pick it up until Wednesday, he said no problem. Wednesday I came through the drive through and the lady said there wasn’t any medicine for me under my name, I then explain to her about my call on Monday and she went back in again to check… she seemed a little tee-off that she had gone back and forth to check my prescription, I waited at least 20 to 30 minutes for my ID and to see if the matter was straightened out about my prescription and then she finally came back with my prescription and said because I waited two weeks the medication was placed back on the shelf, as if this was my fault for me not receiving my prescription… I told her because of the negligence of the pharmacy not notifying me and with me calling to inquired about it I found out it has been in and waiting for me to pick it up. This was no fault of mines… she acted like it was my fault that I let the medication get placed back on the shelf, I again told her this was the pharmacy mistake. She totally disregarded what I was saying and pretty much in so many words was saying get over it, you have your meds and that’s what’s count, I was so fierce I couldn’t wait to get home to write an review on how dissatisfied I was of the customer service received. She was very rude and I hope I never get her again. She was not a good representative for this pharmacy!
I have lived on seven installations since joining 11 years ago. This is by far the worst medical facility I have ever encountered. The community should be outraged and the Garrison Commander should be ashamed. Service member deserve better care.
Long, tedious process for scheduling appointments and especially picking up prescriptions at the pharmacy. I've been turned away twice for vaccinations that I'd missed previously because they preferred that I shedule another checkup with shots. Doctors and nurses have been very friendly and kind. All informative and understanding but a few things could use a little reform.
I am US Navy retired, and the Munson Army Health Center staff always make me feel like I'm a 4-star General when I arrive! Outstandingly fast, prompt and courteous service that I actually look forward to getting my medical treatments here. You folks treat people RIGHT - keep up the great work.
The staff are great and friendly. They always go above and beyond, however the pharmacy is horrible. Only while stationed at Leavenworth in my 21 years of service have I been late or behind on medication. The soul reason is due to this pharmacy making the process difficult
The staff are friendly and helpful, wait time at the pharmacy is usually less than 10 minutes. Super friendly pediatrics staff. Both of my children really like their pediatrician.
Although it took more than 3 weeks to schedule an appointment for a fractured tailbone ended up going to Nextcare out the gate for a diagnosis the staff here are generally friendly and do what they can to help despite being understaffed. At the very least we can appreciate their emphatic demneaor.
The pharmacy number goes to a busy signal at any time of day even though I called nonstop for half an hour. The PMC desk doesn't have basic answers to prescription questions and I was forced to wait until the next day to pick up antibiotics that were needed the day of. Of course, Express Scripts and TRICARE also didn't help so maybe this is just my commentary on the health system or socialized medicine. Just another hour and a half of my time wasted and a shoutout to God that no one else catches strep in the meantime. Either way, I truly hope my life is never in their hands.
Kudos to this new drive through pickup during this COVID-19 crisis. They have this down to a science. Efficient and fast, lines of cars move fast and all of the runners are doing a great job. Thank you for all you do for us, especially the retirees
