Free Admission- donations recommended! Our 4 and 8 year old loved the music sensory room. The drums were a hit. The Big Bears were fun. My kids were super frightened of them Not a super lot to do or look at really. It could use a rennovation! But it gave us a fun destination on our bikes! I enjoyed the mineral and rock cases and the hands on cabinet. Feldspar is so pretty!
It was Scoobys 50th Party and it was advertised in my kids Friday folder or I wouldn't have known. It was great for the whole family. Ran out of cake for Scoobys party before we got there but still entertaining. Love Woodstock too
It's a nice short experience, though we went on a random weekday. It seems like they have some themed days you can go to on specific dates. If you choose to go though be warned there is NO parking unless you are a student of CMU, we had to park elsewhere and walk there even though there was ample parking spaces.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
I and my out-of-town guests have invariably found the museum and its exhibits informative and interesting and good for return visits. The new one, Great Lakes Research Institute is still being expanded and I'll be back for more.
This museum is very interesting and informational for all ages. Make sure to leave enough time to see each of the exhibits.
This Place is ok. It is fun to take very young children to but much doesn't change and it is very small.
Friendly staff, fun material, and a wonderful program. Definitely a great place to go on a field trip!
This hidden gem on CMU's campus is a great stop in Mt. Pleasant to catch a glimpse of the history of Michigan. A perfect stop for the history enthusiast!
Great place to visit for great information!
Can't wait till the new exhibit open
