MIU originated in the spring of 2004 from a discussion between two of our staff members on why very few people succeed at a high level in the music business. That conversation was followed by another, why is the failure rate for bands so high? What needs to change in order to help bands achieve stability, longevity and profitability? After many hours of debate and research as well as past history and experience, we decided to make it our purpose in life to identify all the dream killers in the music industry and turn them into positive stepping stones on the road to achieving your ultimate dream in music.
What happened to the value of music? Think about it, music is everywhere you turn, in elevators, restaurants , movies , sporting events, commercials, concert arenas, workout facilities, churches, night clubs, and concert halls. Music is on television, radio, satellite radio and all over the internet. Music is played worldwide and is the universal language.
