I thought hard about leaving this review due to people having their own opinions on what looks good/bad. However, the service my little Poodle received today was "Hideous" and I was appalled at his appearance. I requested specifically not to have his hair cut from his head only shape up his curls, clean up backside and underneath belly area. I was quoted one price on phone $30+ but end up paying $50+ for services that was "heart wrenching". Let me say that I did not complain when I picked my Poodle up because there is NO repairing the damage done. I will not return to this establishment and I am NOT seeking a refund! The only reason 1" star is given is to have the ability to write this review otherwise the service my Poodle received today gets "zero" stars. Not only did I NOT get what I requested but my Poodle went in with Shirley Temple curls and came out with his hair blown out like he was a pomeranian and they failed to clean around his eyes. I am so disappointed about services received!! However, if I would have read the reviews I dont think I would have utilized the service!! This is my story, yours might be different!!
I've been bringing my three dogs here for almost two years, and I have never had a bad experience. I love this family style and maybe family owned! business. They have always treated my dogs like their own. I am eternally grateful for them being possibly the only groomers in Clarksville that have walk in hours for quick things like nail trims, teeth and ear cleanings. As long as we're stationed at Fort Campbell, we will always bring our dogs to Muttz Kuttz for their grooming needs. Thank you all for being so awesome! Bonus: Smoky the office cat is the most affectionate bean you'll ever meet.
Amazing service for an amazing price. Gave me an entire list of service they would provide, for only $33. They also kept in great contact with me letting me know my pup would be done in an hour, which helps with busy schedules. My pup came out smelling very good, and full of smiles. Will def go back.
Customer service was awful! My dog was given a haircut that I didn’t authorize, when I dropped her off, I told them exactly how I wanted her hair to be cut.  I have a Pomeranian; all her hair was shaved off including her mane down to her skin.  We had to purchase doggie tee-shirts for her because she was always shaking and cold. Muttz and Kuttz tried to tell me I requested for her hair to be shaved; I am precise when it comes to my dog.  I told them that was NOT what I requested when I dropped dog off.  I was talking to a gentleman at the front desk, I ask to speak to the manager, and she was SITTING there with him, the manager didn’t say one-word, unprofessional and unconcern.  Managers would normally address the issues ASAP, she DID NOT. I completely understand it’s just a haircut, it’s the principal of the situation. I will NOT  be going back to Muttz and Kuttz Grooming, this is unacceptable, unprofessional, the place is always crowded with dogs.
My dogs haircut turned out well. Everyone is nice there but my dog was there for over 5 hours in the summer when she was only supposed to be there for up to 3 hours. I had to personally call multiple times to see when she could be picked up and they kept delaying the time. For just having my dog shaved, dropping her off at 10 am to pick her up at 4:30pm is unacceptable. She was very distressed and they were not very apologetic about keeping her so long. I understand things get behind but overall very poor communication and no clear communication if my dog had ever received water. I wouldn’t recommend due to lack of care for my dogs health and well being and poor communication and cleanliness of the establishment.
Do not go here! Upon entry the place is filthy! It smells so bad and the staff is extremely unprofessional. There were about 6 small kids running around and it seemed more like a daycare playground. I brought my dog in for a nail trim and it doesn't seem like they even cut her nails. The girl who trimmed her my pups nails looked like she was about 12 and did not do a good job. I had to come home and redo them. When I said something to them they said they cannot be cut any shorter without hurting the dog.....they are wrong. I will NOT be coming back as this is not the first time this happened. The first time I thought they were just having a bad day so i gave them a second chance. Apparently that's their norm. Waste of money and my pup had to be stressed twice because her nails needed to be done again.
Can’t say enough good things about the staff here. We take our poodle and 4 doodles here for haircuts and they always look so nice. The staff nails the haircuts. Staff is very friendly and good with our dogs. We appreciate them!
I took my Yorkie poo just to get basic bath, they were told to Only trim her FACE on 8/2/23, I came to pick up my puppy they cut all her curls off her head which I was growing out for her bows that I had just bought. You would think they could follow Simple instructions!!
I honestly wanted to give this place 5 stars because the personnel there were friendly but I was no where near satisfied after I picked up my dogs. I requested bathing and deshedding service for both my small short hair dogs. Once I picked them up they smelled like they may have had a bath but there was definitely no deshedding done. I literally pulled fingers full of hair off my dog enough for a pile I had to vacuum up after. Maybe there was some mix up or the groomer forgot but if not then I could have very well did a way better job myself for free.
Far to rough with smaller breeds, my miniature australian shepherd suffered from several friction burns on his stomach. He was still covered in loose fur and dust and despit a full body cut he still had several knots behind his ears and chin.
