My store in schiller park ,northlake, y maywood

This was "heaven on earth" for any DIY'er and homebuilder! I found everything we needed and more! I was pleasantly surprised on the showroom and lumber supply. It was nicely stocked and plenty of choices! The store was easy to navigate and had staff ready to assist you and answer your questions. Let's get to building something special!

I was there after work this evening. Staff were extremely courteous, I found what I was looking for, checked out the exterior door selection. I was able to get in and out. Best of it, even during evening rush hour, I had to use the bathroom really quick. Even before I walked in, it smelled CLEAN and Fresh! Thank you all who worked hard for all of this great experience.

Intentionally practice deception, and misleading customers, should be audited by corporate customer ethics department ! Horrible building materials management. Ran by bunch of part time supervisors trying to be “managers”. They keep horrible quality wood up on shelf’s and good quality is hidden, still unpacked in the middle of yard. For a year they are trying to sell cracked and beat up treated 2x10 20 feet while good quality is hidden from customer reach. When a bunch of “managers” are pressed all of the sudden entire pallet is available BUT now you have to pay the difference, increased price. Honestly worst experience of wreck-less miss management. Nobody should be forced to buy horrible quality and wait their time to come there multiple times trying to pick up 11 boards. It’s a joke of a store, joke of part time “ managers” Should be sued for time lost and slowing down projects. Every statement here I have prove in pictures, video and documents. This store is miss managed and controlled by KIDS, nobody knows who said what, who signed what, will be looking into legal action. Highly disappointed.

Great store always has what you need in stock. Wish the 11% was every week. The best outdoor Lumber out there they have in stock. Propane exchange is $5 less at Menards than even Home Depot.

Definitely the classiest hardware store I have ever been to in my life, hands down. The piano player is a nice touch! Shoppers experience a musical change as microclimates shift from ground to canopy, and all while holding onto one's cart while ascending the gradual slope of the ramp-escalator, which like the rest of the store receives high marks in both form and function. What a pleasure to shop save big money! at this hardware store; Menards is my favorite, and now that I have been to this location I know where the crown jewel is kept. Incidentally, they had exactly what I was looking for, too.

Menards is a great store. I always find what I need in stock and at really good prices. The 11% off sale is nice but wish it was every week. You can find any type of lumber you need for home improvement projects and the quality is great!

Great and helpful customer service. The cashiers stand at the opening of the registers to that you know there are available to ring up your items. The store is well lit and clean. Easy to locate items.

The store has a pretty big parking lot. I love shopping here for basically anything to repair the home you can basically find anything regarding constructions items. The last time I visited the store was already bringing out their summer items, such as decorations for your garden or patio, Pool Supplies and chemicals. Not too many Planters but lots off the seeds that you can possibly imagine to start growing them in your garden. They also have a lots of live plants and fountains for the garden.

We rented a RugDoctor over there along with some tubes for other stuff cleaning. The one we got was not in working condition, so we had to go there and get another one. We asked how do we know that this one is working, and they said you can try home so if it doesn't we can give you another one some other gas and time wasted. Anyway, that one worked and we cleaned our carpet, but didn't have the chance to use the tubes cause that very day my car's catalytic converter got stolen and I was dealing on the phone for the whole day with my car insurance. When I go to return the item i rented they told me that the tubes were dirty...I replied that i never used them, and the gurl at the counter said they are wet, which was ABSOLUTELY NOT true..they were intact, and without me knowing i rented an item which was dirty and now i had to pay for it...Ok, so i asked for the manager and she said they were not wet at all !.. But she said the dirty tank was dirty...I couldn't have more and got charged extra $20 for not cleaning it properly, according to the impolite associates. Definitely not going back there for a single item anymore. And, if someone asks advice, i will tell them not to ever go at this Melrose park shop. If there was 0 stars, I would have given that.

Great local Menards with plenty of products from grocery items, furniture, tools, lumber, building supplies, and various household items. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. They have a large facility with 2 floors. Always plenty of parking.
