Peaceful and Quiet site with staff that are very helpful , grounds are kept perfectly. Everything aligned and in place . Open to the public they do have guided tours for a modest fee if you wish. Just walking the ground you can feel the peaceful grace of GOD .
Very peaceful. Very calm environment. We love you, St. Therese. Please continue to pray for us and shower us your roses from the heavenly garden.
I attended the Friday Holy Mass here and it was an amazing experience. I felt peace of mind and calmness of the soul. There was a sense of tranquility reassuring and enriching my trust in God's unfathomable love and mercy. As I touched the relic of Saint Therese, it seemed to me that there was a voice whispering in my head telling me that she was, and is always there interceding for me. Since 1997, when I was still a teenager, I knew more deeply about Saint Therese and since then I started praying her chaplet honoring the Holy Trinity almost daily and whenever I could, even during vacations. I also love the humility of the presiding priest on that day. It reminds me that God is always choosing us even if we are not perfect, therefore, we should strive harder never to be separated from the Holy Trinity, One God.
Currently under construction. The gift shop should be back to it's normal place October 2017 work construction set to finish on the new shine in September of 2018.
Beautiful, informative and a pleasant place on pretty grounds. Mass at the attached church was nice, too.
St Therese has been a part of my life since I was very young. So I was very excited to discover her shrine many years ago and I have been coming to the shrine ever since I live out of state so it is not a regular visit. Imagine my surprise when I brought my family there and discovered this incredible shrine. St Therese said she would send a shower of roses after she died. This shrine is a wonderful way to do just that. Every member of my family shared their experience at the shrine. Each one felt her presence and knew they had been blessed. I am grateful to all who created this Sacred Space. Every one, regardless of age should go to Darian, Illinois St Therese will be waiting for you - anxious recover you with her Roses.
A must see for all Catholics and those interested in St. Therese
Beautiful! If you're not already devoted to the Little Flower, you will be after coming here.
I've been coming here for years. It is a wonderful place of peace and reflection to visit. I highly suggest everybody visit.
This is a wonderful place to come over to relax and enjoy a tranquil little bit of heaven. I have been here several times, before the construction, during the construction and after the construction. I thought this place was already very nice before all the improvements, but after they remodeled it, it's so much nicer and accessible to everyone. They are doing a great job maintaining and upgrading the whole entire place inside and out.
