We are a family owned jewelry store located in Canon City, Co. After working as a jeweler for a chain store Dan Nelsen (part owner of NFJ) wanted to go into business for himself. He and his brother Monte Nelsen opened Nelsen Brothers Jewelers in 1986. Quickly growing from word to mouth advertising they opened a second store in Canon City, March of 1995.
Deciding to move to Canon city Dan split from Nelsen Brothers Jewelers and became Nelsen's Fine Jewelry in 1999 with Janelle Nelsen (part owner). We have since grown and had to expand or move three times. We are now located at 127 Justice Center Rd Ste. E in Canon City.
Over the last eight years we have won all readers choice awards from the local paper and have been business of the moth for the chamber of commerce two times. We are proud members of the Canon City Chamber of commerce and the RJO (Retail Jewelers Organization) buying group.
We love jewelry and custom design is our passion.
