Gold Country Wood Turners club meets there 3rd Wednesday each month.
I recently had my wedding at the Nevada City Elks Lodge and it turned out wonderful! The volunteers were wonderful that helped the day of the venue. Joe and his wife Danielle were very accommodating with all of our requests, and made themselves available for all of the questions we had along the way. We had an outdoor ceremony among the trees and the setting was beautiful. The prices are much cheaper than most venues for hosting weddings. I did not cater through them - had an outside caterer but their prices were still the best I found. The whole process was seamless, and my wedding was the perfect day. We are looking forward to hosting events there in the future.
Enjoyed MNF with delicious homemade pizza, antipasto, and German Chocolate cake. And of course a couple beers too! Super friendly Elks!

The Nevada City Elks Lodge was clean, relaxing, organized, and the staff were polite and helpful. It was a pleasant drive and the scenery was beautiful. We had a very nice celebration of life service for my girlfriend's mother.
The fraternal order of elks rents out their facilities to the gold country Woodturners the 4th Wednesday of the month for our monthly meeting also to other groups at other times if space is available. Nice building & good parking.

It's a nice large facility, simply stated, plenty of parking, easy access, visible driving by, plenty of restroom stalls, kitchen.
Head Easter brunch here. It was wonderful! Very comfortable and roomy. Everyone was very nice.
