New Golden Buffet

Come in when they first open up...like 11:30-12 noon...everything is fresh and tasty...plus a lot of vegetables, which I like. The hard icecream is so good...especially the green tea flavor...yum!

I went for a late dinner after 8 pm on Saturday. Selection was thin, and they didn't appear to be refilling the buffet any longer, so it just got thinner. Black pepper chicken, General Tso's chicken, chicken with broccoli, honey chicken, pepper steak with onions and a spicy pepper chicken were what I had shellfish allergy. Flavors were good as expected, but this is more of a no-frills buffet so I wouldn't give it 5 stars even though the server and hostess were very pleasant. 3 stars would be accurate, but I think they did what they do well enough to earn the 4th star.

Great Chinese buffet. Very large selection that they do a good job of keeping replenished. Service is quick and the staff is nice.

This place is great! Most Chinese food has sauce with very little flavor. This place has amazing sauces that have flavor. I had the General Tso and it wasn’t overly sweet with barely any flavor like most places. It was full of flavor and not really spicy. My husband had the cashew chicken and it was delicious and had tons of flavor. If you really want great Chinese food, order your take out from New Golden like we did.

There weren't many options, and the ones they had were almost all greasy and covered in heavy sauce. Some were so salty they were hard to eat. The salad bar had very few options. I did like that they have real ice cream, but overall, this place didn't compare well to other buffets I've been to. The servers were great about refills though which was nice.

The food was good. Had to refill my own water a few times even though were were one of two tables. They were good at removing the emptied plates. Ice cream machine was broken, but the server did offer strawberry ice cream to the kids. The food selection was a little limited, but the quality was good.

Several selections for the chicken, beef, and seafood eaters. There aren't quite as many options for vegetarians. When the food is fresh and hot it's pretty good. Sometimes it's not so hot anymore though. Service is quick and they keep the plates from piling up for those of you who go for multiple helpings. The dinning room is clean but dated with more of a cafeteria feel than a restaurant. It's an inexpensive way to feed a lot of people.

A good selection with some good tasting food but most of it was mediocre and old. The place feels dated but at least it was mostly clean. By far my biggest complaint is the cost. It was close to 15 dollars with all of the taxes and everything. You might as well get a decent meal somewhere else. If this place was $8 i might give them 3.5 to 4 stars but as it is there is no way this place is worth it.

Not much happening in here. It's a big but the food is lacking there. Depends when u go, what time of the day or day of the week...it's dry food or barely any. Usually is empty. I gave it a try a few times ,thinking maybe the time of the day or WK would improve but no. It's the same old dry food. *Update*: I don't need to luck to order food, specially from this place.I'm actually shocked this place passes the health inspection and still open

Was not happy with the buffet here. Food trays were left empty or with dried up food in them. Had eaten here awhile ago but the restaurant has really gone downhill. Plus my daughter was up paying the bill when I got cornered at the table by three waitresses saying we didn't leave any tip??!! I was still at the table! I leave a tip on the table before I leave. Not happy about that verbal attack . We always leave a tip on the table before we are going to leave. I have never experienced anything like that before! I will not be back and will tell others of my experience!
