Our National Park located in the French Market area of downtown New Orleans. Open to the public with very friendly and knowledgeable Park Rangers ready to assist you and help you enjoy your experience in the Jazzy City of New Orleans.
Our National Park is very unique. We're all about Jazz and the History of it how it influenced New Orleans' development. Our ranger station is in the Old U.S. Mint - 400 Esplanade Ave (Our visitor center at 916 N. Peters St is currently closed for renovation.) We're open Tues - Sat 10 am to 5:30 pm. The events we hold here at our National Park vary from kids programs, ranger programs where our very own park rangers perform live, to local New Orleans musicians. We update our program list every month and all of our events are free to the public so please feel free to drop in and enjoy the jams!
