Innovation. Action. Art.
Brooke Butler is 20 years old, going on 21. She has loved painting, sketching, writing, singing, and reading over the years. There are a ton of things she holds dear to her heart: her family, her friends, her cat, her dog, her boyfriend, films, and art. Art is everything and is something that we all take for granted. She feels that it is time that the importance of art is brought back to Springfield, Ohio. While taking on projects around the community, Ohio, North America, and Ireland, she has learned from those broad experiences that nobody likes to be alone and that nobody deserves to feel or be alone. This world is so incredibly significant and large enough to meet others who share the same passions, the same concerns, the same perspective as you do. She has also learned that art is exceptional and is everywhere. Art is what you are wearing, what you are sitting on, what you are standing on, what you are reading, what you are holding; Art is all around you. Obviously you don’t have to have the ability to paint to be an artist. All you have to have to be an artist is your mind. Artists design clothing, design video games, make films, bake cakes, take pictures, build cars, build computers, plant flowers, write music, stories, and poetry, play instruments, build those instruments, everything. If you have a talent, you’re an artist.
Taylor Huggins is also 20 years old and ready to change the world. She is a photographer based in Springfield, Ohio. She first picked up a camera when she was five years old and she has been hooked since. Throughout the years, she has gained ample experience and even a college degree in the art. Not only does she take photographs, but she also has background experience in graphic design and drawing. However, her strong suite is being behind the lens of a camera. She also enjoys spending her time reading and exploring the beauty of the world. Her goal is to show people the world from her eyes, whether it be a beautiful landscape or the emotions of a stranger on the street. She wants everyone to see the world as it is- beautiful. With New Vision, she is determined to change the world beginning in Springfield, Ohio.
New Vision is something that Brooke and Taylor came up with because they share a common interest in their community. They both love and appreciate art and have some of the kindest hearts you’ll ever find. New Vision is for them to not only express themselves, but help others see their potentials as well. With this, they plan on offering help and guidance to anyone who needs it, whether it be related to art or not. They are going to give back to the community and bring out all of the local artists because they deserve to be showcased. They believe that you are not alone and they want to prove it. The world is beautiful place. We just have to open our eyes and see it. Thus the name, New Vision.
