This museum is located in a charming town. While small, it packs some interesting history. I hope you get the pleasure of meeting Alonzo Moore. He provided us with some local history, including his own ancestor.
My experience at the museum was such a tootin good time. It was quaint and beautiful and the lady helping us was a real gas! Definitely going to return!
I take my Senior cousins several times a year to the museum Three of them lived in Newburgh as children. They always enjoy seeing the materials and displays. The theme this time is the river and flooding. Cousin Johnnie Fay Pfingston Esche has loaned her Cypress Beach Ferry notebook for this quarter. I think our host learned as much from my cousin, as we did her. This was a wonderful outing for me and my cousins. Grancy's Day Care looks forward to the next display, the Capture of Newburgh.
All I have heard is great reviews about this. We are going to have to go check it out Harlen 2017
Everyone was so nice!
