If only I could give this place a 0. My name is Adriana garcia and I went for a surgery on my back. And let me tell you, this is not a hospital it’s a hell. The nurses are very bad and rude. They let you stay wet in your own pee after the surgery. Very bad service as well as it being dirty, the food is horrible. A person that goes by Laura, a house supervisor is the worst. She says even if you complain they wouldn’t do anything about it because she’s the “supervisor”. I want everyone to know don’t ever think to even come here it’s the worst. Instead of getting better you get worse. I hope that somebody will do something to that “supervisor” that feels untouchable.
Dear Hospital Executives, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my emergency room visit to Foothill Regional Medical Center on April 24, 2023. My name is David Lloyd, and on that day, I arrived at the hospital in excruciating pain. However, despite my condition, the emergency room check-in staff made me fill out paperwork about myself, which was entirely unnecessary and caused me additional discomfort. Once I was admitted, I was placed in a storage room and largely ignored by the staff, except for a nurse who did what she could to help. Unfortunately, the assigned doctor refused to assist me with the extreme amount of pain that I was experiencing, seemingly assuming that I was a drug addict going through withdrawals. I spent four hours in the emergency room, from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, during which time I was in severe agony. Despite my pleas for relief, the doctor would not provide me with any effective pain medication and instead chose to experiment with various non-pain related drugs. I was eventually given a weak medication that did not help, and the doctor refused to tell me what it was. I am confident that if any of you were to have experienced the same situation, you would be equally outraged. The pain I was experiencing was beyond anything I can describe, and I left the hospital at 6:30 PM without receiving any real treatment. I had to suffer for an additional 12 hours before seeking medical attention elsewhere. It is unacceptable that a hospital should ignore the cries for help from their patients, and I demand that you take action to ensure that this does not happen again. I request that you discontinue the use of storage rooms for ER patients, as it is not a suitable environment for treatment. Furthermore, I demand that you instruct your staff that ignoring calls from patients in the ER is a fireable offense. I must emphasize that I am not a drug addict, nor was I experiencing drug withdrawals. The doctor's assumption was based on his own biases and not on any facts. Additionally, I demand that the charges for my Monday visit be waived completely. I received substandard care and refuse to pay for it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that you take immediate action to address the issues raised in this email. Sincerely, David Lloyd
I was here in July for surgery and it was the worst experience imaginable. For starters it is peak summer in California in July and they do not have A/C... The rooms are stale and hot af and the staff doesn't seem to think it is a priority. My wife was headed to buy me a fan when the 1 good nurse I had in a 4 day stay hunted down what she said was 1 of 2 fans in the entire building, Unfortunately I can not remember her name but she was a tall blond and was the only upside to my entire stay. The 1st night the nurses were so loud I thought I was at a bar, I did not get a wink of sleep then entire night. When I called for help it was hit or miss weather anyone would actually show up and half the time I had to instruct the nurse how to do her own job. I could go on but I am going to end it here, I do not recommend Foothill Medical to anyone for any reason.
I was transfer and admitted to Foothill Medical Center from Kaiser Permanente with severe stomach and back pain due to gallbladder infection, gallstones, and inflammation in my pancreas. I was immediately placed on IV and antibiotics. All my day and night nurses were great and would come whenever I needed more pain medication or anything else. Especially my helpful nurse Kyra, Kelsey they were very attentive and CNA Wanda I had her the last day I was there and she was amazing. I had a great stay here the 4 nights I was admitted. My only complaint was the last day I was being discharged I had given them my birth control medication so they could give it to me every night and the last day I was leaving they lost it and could find it. I usually take it cause I have a crazy cycle so my husband demanded that someone had to be responsible for loosing them. All of a sudden an older lady RN by the name of Michelle that I had no contact with she was not even my nurse. She came into the room all aggressively and got in my face after I had gotten surgery the day before saying they didn’t have any of my pills. My husband got up and told her not to be yelling at me like that and she went crazy with her remark “ call security “ when no nurses did because she was in the wrong of course. The charge nurse Jevy was professional and apologized for RN Michelle actions. Overall even though that last experience wasn’t that great my whole stay with my RNA’s ,CNA’s & surgeon were great they were attentive and helpful.
I don't normally take the time to leave reviews like this, but I wanted to truly give a shoutout to the amazing care that I received at Foothill. I admitted myself to the ER due to severe abdominal pain early Sunday morning, and from that point on, I was given tremendous care and attention. They immediately admitted me into the ER, where blood tests and an ultrasound showed that I had gallstones and needed to remove my gallbladder. I was an in-patient for a total of 4 days, and the day and night shift nurses were the sweetest and most caring people, checking in on me regularly. I had my operation done promptly after being diagnosed, and communication from the surgeon who performed my operation was also excellent. The hospital overall is quite dated and could use a renovation, but don't let that stop you from getting care here. I would definitely return here in the event of another emergency again. Special shoutout to my recovery nurse Eva for really going above and beyond in making sure that I was doing well both pre and post surgery. God Bless everyone at Foothill Medical Center!
My experience here was great. It’s a small hospital and so the staff seem especially close. I was checked on continuously to see how the care I was receiving was. The nurses were great and I felt like they really cared. I was very grateful to have gone here for my spine surgeries and recovery.
My experience was so awful I'm never going back there again. I don't even think it deserves a one star it's only for the one person that did good. Ann Asian a nurse in the hospital and Kaitlyn young white, blondeboth gave me a hard time and bad service. They both seem like they hated being a nurse. Ann was so cold to me, I tried calling her for 2 hours through the call button and she never showed up when I asked for pain medicine. I was in severe pain and made me have an anxiety attack. Kaitlyn a night nurse on 4/6/2023 made me freeze the whole night by not trying to shut the window I was right next to. She said it didn't shut .so I had to literally stuff the crack with my own napkins in my purse. Later, I closed it shut by myself , she just didn't even try. I was crying in pain and everybody just looked at me and walked past me. Then when I finally got really angry after taking in the horrible treatment I started saying "where's my nurse ?" Since I got angry oh sure everybody comes in finally, including the security . one of the security guys laughed at me, which infuriated me much more I was so afraid they were going to hurt me and I have a broken back. Because of Ann who gave me a severe anxiety attack which caused me to have a severe mental breakdown. Which made me me get kicked out of the hospital. Also I should note that I never did receive my MRI results by any doctor. Nor did I see a doctor while I was in the hospital 4/7/2023. I did an MRI with my whole back for an hour which was extremely painful laying on my back with two herniated discs. I didn't even receive my MRI results. They gave me a number for Chris Salem MD a on call doctor that I did call multiple times and he never returned my call. I have been so upset the last couple days since I left that hospital balling crying. Like I said I will never go back there again and I hope to God nobody goes through what I went through.
In May I came into the emergency room with a terrible cough. The emergency physician looked at my existing cough perscription, did not take vitals, and said he couldn't prescribe anything better and my visit was done. Received a bill for approx. $1300, $330 was mine. Elevated it with their staff, nothing, reluctantly paid. I'm not saying this visit should have been free, but a lesser amount for sure is warranted.
I stayed here when I had pnamonia, and they took good care of me. The nurses are kind and helpful.
I sliced a good chunk of my finger off and I didn’t stop bleeding for nearly two hours Doctor took a look at my finger and says, “you’re fine, I’ve had worst cuts, I’ll give you Tylenol “ I proceeded to wait in the room for for 4 hours. The nurse came and used one whole gauze roll to cover up my finger and said,” yeah I don’t know how to cover that up “ Very reassuring… All in all, it would have been better to stay home
