Nice KOA, not too far from Niagara Falls. Paid over $100 for my site, has a patio, water hook, and electricity outlets. Has wifi but we never told our kids . Sites are close to each other. Enough that you can hear your neighbors conversations, yes that close. Thank God for quite hours 10 pm - 7 am. Guests are pretty good with this expectation. Lots of RV. Cabins look nice, various size. Staff was good, helpful. Check in was simple and quick. General store can be pricey, $12 for a bundle of firewood. Overall, the camp site was clean, well staffed, and maintained. No fish in the catch and release ponds. All the amenities were awesome. Lots of things for the family to do inside camp to keep everyone busy. Love the community KOA staff tried to build while guests are there. Thank you!
The location was good for going to Niagara Falls and the campground was generally quiet. However, there was some trash around the cabin and someone was in our cabin’s assigned parking space the majority of the two days we were there. It was also evident that there was not a thorough cleaning of the cabin, as along the baseboards it was still dirty with dirt, grass and what looked like chips. Also, the bathrooms clearly did not get the attention they needed. The soap dispensers ran out, the floors were very filthy and needed mopping, especially in the stalls and shower stalls. It looks like someone just swept quickly and wiped off the counters and sinks without really sanitizing. two drunk women came into the building smoking a cigarette and the whole bathroom stunk so not a great ventilation system. I know it was Labor Day weekend but I felt staff just did cursory checks if you’re in an RV it’s a fine place but for cabin stay it was disappointing.
Close to Niagara Falls. This was a good location for us to stay for 3 nights to visit Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. The park itself is good, but expensive; probably just because it's in a popular tourist area. We didn't use the park for much more that spending the night. We decided to drive to Niagara Falls and park on Goat Island which worked out great. I just recommend getting there before 10am to make sure you get there before it fills up. From there you can walk to both falls and into Canada. There is a shuttle that we used to get back to the car to save us from walking back.
Pros: if you have kids this place is wonderful. They have a fantastic playground with a roller coaster type swing, the pool is heated and wonderful, two bounce pads, basketball, pickle ball, and corn hole are all available. There is also a fishing pond where we caught bluegill! Plus the falls are about 15 minutes away. Would definitely recommend. Cons: it’s pricey. We stayed in a value pull thru site and it wasn’t bad. Close to all the activities!
Best KOA ever. The staff here was above and beyond kind and generous. They help you in any way they can so friendly. The size of this KOA is amazing the beauty is amazing the landscape is amazing. To see the amount of cabins that they have is phenomenal definitely the best KOA I've been to yet keep up the good work definitely going to return thank you so much for giving us a wonderful day and a great vacation
Won’t be returning. Had paid a premium to get a good site right on the fishing pond and near the back pool. Our extra money was sadly wasted as there were no fish in the pond and the back pool and all the games in it was closed without warning. We would have definitely stayed in cheaper site for sure for our stay because of this. You can’t pickup your own firewood, it has to be delivered, which took 2 hours, and orders stop around 7:15pm. 50% of the vehicles in the park drove way too fast for comfort with kids around. The biggest turnoff was that they started their lawn maintenance at 8:30 at all sites, occupied or not what’s the point of a checkout time if they do maintenance while you’re on site? We had someone with a weed eater AT our trailer at 8:34AM, the weed eater was throwing rocks at our trailer, they did all around our site, which was clearly occupied with everyone sleeping this was on the day of our checkout, we were speechless. There was lots of stuff for kids to do, however, our experience was disappointing and expensive for what we encountered. Safety: Half of the cars drive too fast
Never a bad stay at a KOA! Always clean and well managed with a great store and plenty of things to do or do nothing. Ha e been to many campgrounds with no complaints but with KOA your expectations will be met. Nearby activities: Niagara Falls tour bus picks you up right there. Off season late August was perfect t for weather and mu h smaller crowds.
This was by far the best vacation spot for family! If you looking to be close to the falls this is perfect!! So many activity’s in the KOA itself. If you run out of things to do in the park there is a full amusement park / water park right next door! You can buy tickets at the KOA and a mini train will pick you up and take you to the park!! Such a cool experience! Lady’s in the office were very nice and helpful. Rentals are a little pricey but the place has to pay for up keep somehow. Speaking of up keep. I have a 2 star for rooms cuz the BATHROOMS were atrocious!!! If your in an RV you’ll be fine but if you need the bathrooms there good luck. They need to get these cleaned regularly. Over all 5 stars. Nearby activities: Amusement park and water park! Attached to the KOA!!
Convenient proximity to Niagara Falls National Park. We saw everything we wanted to see in the area! On our last day, we mostly stayed@ the Kampground & enjoyed a day just to relax there. Made use of the pool & kids enjoyed the jump pad. LOVED the atmosphere. The BEST Kampstore: convenient and ALL the staff were friendly and helpful. Suggest coin machine &soap vending @laundry for night time.
Very excellent campground. Very clean and we'll maintained. Close to the falls and Buffalo, too. Staff was always happy. Firewood was $12 a bundle, but they were big pieces and it burned well. Hey, it's New York, what do you expect!
