I recommend a cruise there. The river Nile cruise is definitely a great experience to have. You can admire different surroundings from lush vegetation, cities, to rocky desert places.
The Nile River, an awe-inspiring waterway that has played a central role in the history and culture of Egypt for thousands of years, leaves an indelible mark on anyone fortunate enough to experience its majestic beauty.
The boat trip down the River Nile was very relaxing, with some beautiful views. it's a shame it's so polluted though, the water is basically black and the cities around it rely heavily on it for many things. We did see a small crocodile that was walking alongside the river which was fun.
We have been on a Nile boat trip as part of our all-day excursion in Luxor. I highly recommend it. The scenes around were magnificent.
Really a breath taking view, try to have a peaceful walk by the Nile River, it’s soothing and relaxing.
Hi my name is the Pharoah and I'm really confused and upset. This dude named Moses came here with a staff and gave me 10 plagues. The river turned to blood and now I can't enjoy my royal bath with my concubines. 0/10, moving out after my firstborn's funeral.
It was so amazing to see how beautiful and extremely different the Nile in Aswan is than the Nile in Cairo, after it has passed by almost all of Egypt. In Aswan, the water is so clear you can see through it. The Nile goes through mountains and greenery. The water goes around small little islands of rocks that look enchanting. A boat tip for an hour or so can be so soul calming.
Doing a cruise on the Nile is something everyone should do at least once in a lifetime . It' s travelling at its best and satisfies a broad variety of tastes .Be it history ,temples or nature or simply enjoying cruising on a boat in luxury and comfort . It's all there at affordable prices .
The Nile River is the source of good things for Egypt.. I love you River Nile.
The river Nile is calm and overall clean, even though it passes through numerous big and small cities, towns, and villages. If you can, go on a cruise on board one of the many cruise ships, or enjoy a short ride on a motor boat or traditional feluka boat from some of the towns and cities. There are even river sellers, who hook their boats to the cruise ship and show you their goods. When you like something, they throw it up on the deck in a tightly sealed bag. It's quite a sight! Another great point is that many of the major temples and memorial complexes are located close to the Nile shore, as the river was--and still is today--the fountain of life for the ancient Egyptians.
