Good atmosphere a place that has a hearty wholesome feel to it. Food is great although we had a new waitress so service was a little slow once out of the 5 times we've been. The navy beans makes my Mom feel at home so I don't mind spending our girls time right at Nix. Parking: The parking lot is crowded due to several businesses on the strip.
Hole in the wall, not what you think, all the stereotypes you can think of this place fits the bill but boy are you wrong! The food is delicious and the service is fantastic! So glad we found this spot Food: 5/5
Oh My Goodness this was my 1st time there. And Trust it Will Not Be My LAST. I had the 2 eggs scramble with cheese they were perfect like I made them myself. And the cornbread hash lord Have mercy! And buttery fired biscuits All I can say is. I Will Return
I went here yesterday for the first time for lunch and had the all day breakfast they serve. Food was great, they give plenty. Service was fast and polite. I will definitely make this a regular place to eat going forward. I highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Food ok at best. Our server seemed new so we gave her a pass. I had shredded hash brown potatoes - my wife had cubed potatoes. Both were just warm, mine were cold because they never saw the griddle and were pretty raw, the cubed were cold in the center. Rest of meal was OK, hope the new cook gets better or we will not be back.
Great staff. Great food. We were in the area for 3 days on a job site. We got tired of fast food. We found Nix and thought let's give it a shot. We came during the lunch rush. The establishment was full, but they had no problem keeping up. Not only that, but they kept our drinks topped up. The food was pretty good as well. When we are back in town, this will be one of my stops for sure.
I lived in the area for years my wife and I decided to check out Nix for breakfas to our surprise the food was delicious. Staff was friendly. Service was slow. It just depends on who your server is. Our next time back we had a male server that was working the back area of the restaurant on a Saturday. Yess he was outstanding!!!... we have been going on a regular. Yes I recommend NIX
The place looked cute and the services was nice but the food gave me food poisoning. I eat it around 7 and got sick around 1 and have been sick all night. So I wouldn't eat here again yall need to clean and check dates on yells food.Food: 1/5
Nix is the go to breakfast spot in Churchland. Their florentine omelet is absolutely delicious, and their country ham is the perfect salty treat. You have to try their biscuits as well. They grill them so they are the perfect combination of crisp and flaky. Service is always friendly and you can't beat their prices.
Stopped in for breakfast and left very satisfied. The prices are *very* reasonable and the portions are gigantic. I have a healthy appetite, yet still took home leftovers for my pup. There was just too much for me to finish by myself. Unfortunately, the kitchen made a small error - home fries instead of the hash browns I requested - but I chose not to have it corrected. Next time I'll let my wait staff know to please confirm the hash browns. Doesn't change my desire and intent to return, as the food was excellent.
