Good for a couple nights stay! Wish there was a little more shade at the campsites. I noticed the owner wrote on another google review that their bath house is new… it doesn’t seem very new, but it was still clean. Good cell signal. Heard coyotes howling at night. Didn’t use the pool or restaurant so can’t comment there. I would probably stay again if in the area.
Great little campground with awesome camp hosts. We rented a 6 person cabin and I am glad we did. There was plenty of space and air conditioning a must in 100° weather, a very cold refrigerator and a small TV. There is a little bar and laundry room on the premises. The showers and toilets are a little small but that keeps people from staying too long. Bedding and plenty of towels were also supplied.
We stayed here in 2021. The owner is really nice but the reviews should be about the facility and amenities. Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant stay and decided to leave early and go to a hotel instead. The cabin had a terrible smell where we couldn't even sleep at night. The food was ok but most of it is fried food. The restaurant area was full of flies where the owner had slices of soap all over the tables, according to her the soap was going to keep the flies away. Obviously it wasn't working..The showers, the shower handles barely work and the water was extremely hot. My 8 year old got burned when he turned on the shower. The place needs major improvements starting with the showers. There are no luxury cabins here either.
This campground is great! The pool and hot tub are a nice amenity. The bar and grill has really good food. The owners are very friendly! Great place to stay’
We stayed in a Small, primitive..dry cabin. There were3 couples. For the price, during sturgis, it was perfect. They have a hot breakfast and dinner specials. The pool was clean and so were the shower houses and bathrooms.
Overall a nice pretty place to stay. My only complaints is that we reserved a cabin with a queen bed... yea that was NOT a queen bed, or it was the smallest queen bed in existence. Also there was hardly any light in the cabin with only 1 dim bulb for the whole thing, we had to use the flashlight on our phones a lot. The last thing is the drapes were too narrow to cover the whole window so there was a 3-5 inch gap on one side or the other for each window. They do have a small pool and hottub. The bar/restaurant was nice and bathrooms/shower area were decent.
So sad to be leaving, but I will be back here next year. Maybe sooner lol We absolutely loved it. Clean comfy cabins, peaceful, family friendly, awesome owners, beautiful sunrise/sunset views. Shared bathrooms were never an issue and always clean and stocked. Pool was relaxing and had a side shallow enough for my younger ones to play and feel included. They loved the little playground and the covered area where they have stuff to play Cornhole. The bar and grill is really nice inside. Didn't get a chance to eat in there -bummer. They're closed M & T and we got in late Sunday ‍, so I popped in before closing and grabbed a beer/shot. Next time though!
What a pleasant surprise this resort turned out to be! Quiet without the screaming kids everywhere. Respectful campers and helpful owners. Really pleased with the value for the $. Clean, well-maintained facilities and helpful staff.
Petite Cabin 22 was perfect for me and my daughter. It was fun hanging out watching tv in our cabin….like a little slumber party. Pool looked fun but too cold for us that day. Bathrooms and showers clean. Easy check in and check out. Would stay again!
Horrible, not the people the spaces. We informed them we had 44' with patio and truck. We were boxed in no space on either side back or front. Luckily the RVers behind us brought a smaller trailer and did not require a ton of space. Hook ups for sewage is horrible, bring extra hose.
