Tucked away on the back corner, Nomad Coffee is a swank establishment with minimalistic styling. You aren't getting a large selection of coffees, teas, and pastries BUT what you do get is taste. Nomad serves Ethiopian coffees in the traditional European style...not like the sudo European styles at Starbucks. We enjoyed a dry cappuccino and a Maple latte along side our chocolate croissant and cream cheese Danish. Oh and the Danish was so light and Fluffy. #NomNomNom Great stop! @MeetMrOwl #BirdLife #OwlsTweet #worldtraveler
The chocolate croissant was pretty good, the presentation of the croissant looks fantastic. I would have liked more chocolate in the croissant. I've had coffee here before and it's definitely some of the best tasting coffee I've had around. They currently have a rose cardamom latte I'd love to try at some point.Food: 5/5
What a wonderful place to just chill, get a caffeine fix and vibe to the relaxing atmosphere. You definitely can't go wrong in making this place a regular haunt - and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly.Food: 5/5
Wow, this was the best latte I had. Very nice flavor and good pop to the coffee taste I really enjoyed it! I would come back here for sure. Service was great also I like a friendly smile and good attitude. I'm a nomad for sure so it suits me well. I happened to stumble across the place as I was doing some random deliveries while on a wintercation in a far place for a while so all the coffee I tried while running around for months this was the best of Vermont and also would probably say the best anywhere else I've been to so props to you all!
If you are looking for a quick coffee stop you can’t go wrong with any of the options on Nomad’s menu! The coffee is so smooth and subtle in flavor with light nutty sweet notes and their maple lattes are a must! The tiny shop makes up for its size with big flavor! If you are local and haven’t been- it’s a must! Near plenty of shops and restaurants at five corners you have plenty of space to explore and sip to your heart’s content!
Courteous knowledgeable and friendly staff helped me decide on the perfect drink! Their maple late is smooth, balanced and flavored perfectly, 8 oz. of pure heaven! This might be the best late I’ve had to date. I had to try the blueberry lemon scone as it was calling my name from Nomad’s adorable display window! It was light yet rich with butter, but not too sweet.The lemon was great with the blueberries! My scone was half gone by the time I walked home. Awesome quaint little spot with nice seating as well! I will absolutely be back!
Lovely little coffee shop with croissants and scones if you get here early enough ;
Really enjoyed this coffee stop since they have opened. It's been fun growing as this business grows. I introduced my then girlfriend to their coffee trailer on walks with her and my dogs. When they opened there shop in Burlington my girlfriend had just moved to Vermont full time. Now we are married and are trying to make a point to stop by their new shop in Essex every weekend to keep the tradition alive. But more about Nomad. They offer a great cup of coffee with the best pastries in the Essex area. It's all served by a great staff with a pleasant attitude. Nomad is the light breath of energy you need to start or right any day.
This place was purely amazing. One of a kind space and really enjoyed my time here. I say “my time” because my partner and I are roadtripping around the US. We both work remote, we find local coffee shops to do our work at Mon-Fri. We typically try to rotate around to different ones while we are in different cities, but this one was so good we came multiple days in a row. Out of all the cafes we’ve visited this one is our favorite out of the whole country so far! The baristas are all so nice! The pastries are freaking insane and they usually sell out quick bc of it. I tried the breakfast pop tart and the blueberry lemon scone. The coffee is really strong and tasty. I think my favorite drinks were their specialty teas. Overall. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for everything!
Nestled in the heart of 5 Corners, Nomad Coffee is a great spot to grab a quick coffee when walking the neighborhood.
