We stumbled upon this museum while visiting in nearby Caldwell. IT'S FREE, although they kindly accept any donation amount! There's a small gift shop with some fun, artisan and historical keepsakes. Our tour guide had such a great personality and knew a ton of fun and interesting history about the North family and Lewisburg itself. I'm so happy we stumbled upon this little museum, definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area!
We paid for the very nice tour. A small house, but with amazing history. The furniture is amazing. And if you are into quilts, hopefully they will have one of the 5 oldest quilts in the country out.
Historic building with a past and filled with interesting displays! Tour Guide Katie was on her first day and did a decent job even with the busy Home Tour day.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5

Well maintained and worth a visit. It compliments very nicely all the other parts of Historical Lewisburg. I look forward to stopping in again. Deanna was our docent, and she gave a well done guided tour which enhanced the visit.
The staff was very helpful! We came from out of state to search for mid-1800 Greenbrier County ancestral vital records. They knew which records to pull, and where the record was stored. We wouldn't have gotten nearly as much done without their help. Thank you!
The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the tour. Very informative. I am glad I went.
