North lake is an awesome place to be it even has a gym with various machine most people ride around on golf carts the swimming pool is heated so u don't have to worry about it being to cold there is a library with puzzles and various books and a game room with a pool table I would 10/10 recommend Rooms: The rooms are nice with ac Nearby activities: There is airboat rides you can fish etc Safety: People drive slow and there are stop signs to ensure safety and on the concrete when the manager sees a tripping hazard right away it is fixed
Great place to stay you have very many things to do you can fish swim in the pool you can play some games or even workout employees are very nice and rooms and the park are very clean there is no trash anywhereRooms: 5/5
I have been a permanent resident of this park for about a year. Originally, I came down here last November to spend the winter. Within one week, my wife and I were playing bingo, shuffleboard, cards with other residents, doing water aerobics, and using the gym. Other activities include pool tables, dart boards, pickleball courts, a clubhouse with full kitchen, outdoor kitchen, screened in outdoor eating area, heated swimming pool, library, and dog park. Residents get together to play cards, do yoga and aerobics, have dinners and potlucks, and compete with each other at pool, pickleball, cards, and shuffleboard. The park is clean and pretty well maintained. The employees are friendly and the weather here is great. We liked the park so much that we decided to permanently move here within our first week. I highly recommend this park for short or long term stays.
Pool was 84 degrees, nice. Grounds are well kept. Lots of social things if you want to participate. Pickleball and dog park.Location: 3/5
Small park and staff not really involved with residents vs. from the parks that we have stayed, but friendly. This may be the reason not many, if any, group activities. Sad because this park could be a huge success for the residents and owners if management was more involved with daily activities and the residents.
Great place, my folks winter there. Motel rooms are a bit sparce, not many amenities. Bring your own shampoo and soap, on the upside, we did get a personal safety packet from the office when we arrived. The park is very clean and well maintained, the salt water pool looked great but we didn't get the chance to take a dip.
We are spending a few months here. It's very clean,nice people and staff. It's a little tucked away from things but only about a hour and a half away from the Gulf or Coast and if you are a fisherman it's 20 to 25 minutes from okeechobee. Everyone enjoys a place to stay on vacation that all you have to bring is your clothes and they definitely welcome your pets.You will like it so much you won't want to go home. You can stay weekly and monthly which is great! We loved our trip so much we decided to stay.
Hidden in Southwest Florida is this little piece of paradise. This an extra clean resort with absolutely the friendliest people you could find. Plenty of amenities and activities to keep you busy if you choose or just relax by the huge pool. The lots are a good size and the grounds are well taken care of by the excellent maintenance and cleaning staff. This is our second year here and we love the resort so much we bought a place here.
The streets are wide and the park is very clean and well maintained. The pond has a beautiful fountain and a very spacious clubhouse nearby. Lots to do with a covered pavilion which is screened with ceiling fans. They even have rooms for rent and below is a photo. Definitely 5 Stars all the way. This is where I’ll stay the next time I’m down that way.
Nice place but has its issues. We signed a 2 year lease, part of the agreement was Sun property would provide us small shed on our lot, we originally were told 6 to 8 weeks 7 months later still no shed I have checked multiple times with no expected date.They have a nice laundry area but many of the machines are out of order and have been for several months. This was not a big deal in the summer's but now jan the place is packed it has become an issue. The long term residents were informed last month a charge for water would also be added to their rent. Management has just changed and most of the office staff so hopefully some of the issues will be addressed soon. Basically this is a nice place and we enjoy living here. But Sun the first rule of business is don't over promise and under deliver
