Very clean, organized and neat library. They also have a great children's book selection!
Beautiful space. Lots of books, computers, desk areas for work and the kids area is beautifully appropriate for the little humans. Remembering what libraries looked like when I was growing up compartes to library spaces like this?! Thai system has come a long way. I’m grateful for that. My kids can have a different relationship with going to the library that is more welcoming and positive. Also, everytime I’ve gone, I’ve had a question. Staff is kind and helpful. That you for doing what you do and maintaining the space.
Had to get a new physical library card so I can rent e-books for my Kindle. This library is huge and the lady who help me was very friendly.
Just on north boulevard, the location of this library couldn't be better. They have a book donation box to drop gently used books. The inside is spacious with rows of books and multiple computers if you need to get on the internet. Also if you check their schedule theirs all kinds of activities they hold from story time with kids to job fairs with adults. Really neat spot.
Very clean place, and lots of space to expand your mind.
It's okay. I'm a remote worker, and I occasionally work from the local libraries to just get out of the house. The recent renovations here are nice. It's a cozy and peaceful despite it not being located in the best neighborhood place to get a day's work done at. It's night and day compared to what the library used to be like, so the person who was in charge of the renovations did a bang up job. I agree with a couple of the reviews below that the staff seems to be real watchful of the librarian patrons, especially the woman with the rainbow-colored hair. I don't know if they just don't have enough to do or what, but they'll nitpick you for doing the slightest rule break. I kind of get the feeling of being a student back in elementary school while at this library that I don't get from other HC libraries. I may cut this HC library out of my rotation. We'll see.
I went to print something at a computer. It was only a few pages so I used the express computer. I was getting ready to print and the librarian came over and smacked the sign and said "this computer is only 15 minutes, next time use a different one". I said to her it had only been 6 minutes and I didn't plan on being over 15, and she said "next time use another computer". How about you WAIT the 15 minutes to see if I go OVER it first before you discipline me in front of everyone there? So rude and unprofessional! If you don't want someone using the computer over 6 minutes the sign should SAY 6 minutes and NOT 15!
Had to get a copy of work had done here was in and out pretty quick they stay busy
A great place to get my personal work done. Since I've retired I lost all my skills on the computer but the staff was so helpful! I give it. 10 stars + AWESOME
This place i quite spacious and they have a pretty nice selection of books. If you cant find anything, you can always access the online catalogue to get even more materials.
