The management of this store really does care about customer satisfaction. They went above and beyond to ensure my order went perfectly. I will always choose this location for store pickup regardless where I live.
Horrible place!!! I brought a riding mower there to be repaired and after over a month of nothing being done and lots of phone calls where I was very courteous each time, I finally started getting irritated and in the middle of my explanation to the woman who answered the phone telling me the repairman was out and wouldn't return until tomorrow, the rude woman just hung up on me. And when I called back to report her behavior to a manger, I was promised a return call that never came. I will never again shop at Norther tools!!
Pleasant place to shop for reasonable priced and great sale deals on decent quality tools or items for DIY on a budget with out breaking the bank. Made a resent purchase of a rolling tool chest and top box in 11/22. Was aproximent $2600 but got it for $700. Employees are good people there.
I had to check on order. The company ran an old card and never contacted me when it was declined. The card was hacked so I had a new one. If I had not checked I would not have had a shed I was planning on.
Just walked out of this Stockbridge location. 2 employees Blk females behind the counter. 1 female employee Wht standing on customer side of counter. 1 security employee Blk female standing near entrance of store. Total of 4 employees watched me walk in the store and soon thereafter, walk out of the store. At NO TIME was I greeted "Hello" or "Goodbye." COMPLETE disregard of the company's customers. Management really needs to train their staff on etiquette and customer service.
Put in order only to learn later it was cancelled because of one item they had but wasn't the same item number. so I went to the store and found everything I wanted and when I got home the trailer tongue jack didn't have the handle. Now I have to drive another hour back to the store to change out. GEEZ

Thank you Connie. The situation: Something broke on my commercial grade vehicle’s hydraulic system. I traditionally started with the so called, commercial vehicle mechanics. Of course, this was just for my own amusement. I already knew the answer I would receive. However, I still delight in watching their facial twitches and convulsions as they tried to figure out what part I need or what they’re doing for that matter. Next, to get serious, I Web-searched hydraulic shops and parts. I found “Northern Tool and Equipment” in Stockbridge, GA., that was only 28 miles away. I called ahead and talked to “Connie,” a sales associate. She told me of their wide selection based on my vague description. I was skeptical and worried that this was going to be at least a 3 store search. On the way, my GPS decided to stick at the last 6 miles as well. I called again and was connected to Connie. Her navigation was spot on as well as her description of the ample parking available per my vehicle size. Arriving, I sought her out and she assisted me in finding the part, “the exact part,” and I learned its proper title. That is: a, ¾” Male Pipe x ¾” Female Pipe Swivel, Hydraulic Adapter. I knew this part was going to be difficult to find. That is, if I went somewhere else. I was wrong in my assumptions and gladly so. The parts were $17 including the new roll of Teflon tape. However, I only left after spending $167.08, because I just had to! But let’s compare the average of $150hr labor and parts markups from the aforementioned diesel geniuses. So, thank you Connie for saving my boss money as well. Northern Tool and its staff gets what it takes to survive as a “brick-n-mortar” in an increasingly online world. If you want to get me and others going through those doors, you better bring your best attitude, knowledge, and work ethic to work. Connie did. And again, thank you Connie.

I really enjoyed the new Stihl equipment display. I look forward to having Northern be my go to store for all my chainsaw and 2-cycle needs.
