I can’t say enough great things about this place. All sites are kept very clean. The maintenance staff work daily to keep the landscape beautiful. There is so much to do , including corn hole, shuffle board, swimming pool, cards, bingo, water aerobics, make a teddy bear workshop, Sunday church service, entertainment in the clubhouse, special meals, and lunches. There is always something going on. They work hard to please their guests here. It is in a rural area. 1/2 hour away from most big stores and restaurant chains. Quite time is 10:00p.m. and it is quite. The place is only a couple years old. Everything looks brand new. The wood shop is amazing. Sites are spacious and the view is great no matter where you stay in the park.
Wow, This place is awesome. The lots are big, the landscaping is nice and appealing. The pool is beautiful. Kim is the manager. She is very helpful and always smiling. Ashley is a great help and works in the office too. She coordinates all the activities. George is head of maintenance. He and his crew are quick to fix a problem.
Excellent. So many amenities that include extremely friendly staff. This is our 1st year at this beautiful RV Resort. Our large site allows us to put our screened tent, storage shed & 2 on site spaces for our vehicles. LG. Pool, hot tube & individual shower/changing building, kitchen, library, several meeting rooms, laundry, 2 dog parks, pet friendly, staffed post office, wood working building, full staff in the office available, street lights, paved streets, Pickleball courts for all levels & other games & so much more. We have met so many neighbors, are happy being here & look forward to a great season & already plans for next season.
After an awesome stay from February - June of 2022, I was surprised that I was unable to make a reservation this winter. We were not allowed to return because of our 2yr old - the park does not allow children for longer than 2 weeks. This was a little shocking as the ladies in the front office knew we would be returning this winter and had even pushed for us to sign up for a year around stay. After being welcomed for the first season, I was surprised this would be the outcome for a returning guest.
Very friendly people, nice clean park. Dogs are welcome here, they have a nice dig park, one for small dogs, one for large. A beautiful pool, and hot tub. A very big clubhouse if you have a crowd and want a function.
I was told to visit Oak Alley by some friends and I was really looking forward to what they had to offer here. Very disappointed in the camp. This is a large camp ground and the grass areas are being worked everyday. One bath house with three separate rooms that was very nice and clean but I feel Inadequate for such a large place. Club house, laundry, pickle ball courts and pool are very nice and clean and made my stay better. Advertise free high speed internet...there is no internet. The park very remote. You must travel 30 min in any direction to find anything larger than Dollor General. Some of the permanent tenets have cable but not short term visitors. No compensation give for the lack of amenities. Overall, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the park is well kept. Permanent guess are nice and all of there sites we classy and inviting.
This is an absolutely beautiful new park with everything neat and well maintained and extremely friendly accommodating staff. The place has a real small town southern charm. Unfortunately them being new there is a bit of growing pains that i for-see. The primary being that their facilities are far too small for a park even half this size. The park is only at maybe 15% capacity and already the laundry facilities fill up in the morning leaving those of us who work the rest of the week no recourse but to go off campus to do laundry. The next is their mail system. Unlike most other parks ive been to, they do not allow deliveries to your lot, packages can only be received through post office package lockers, of which they have far far too few especially considering we live in the amazon age. I also dont see how a single trash compactor is going to keep up when the park gets busy, but luckily this has not been a problem yet and get additional ones shouldn’t be hard. My recommendation would be to open an additional laundry facility closer to the back of the park with a dumpster aswell. Also allow to the lot package delivery, or expand the mailroom somehow.
You folks have everything....except the new high tech, state of the art wide screen Electronic Digital BULLETIN BOARDS One for the Office waiting room, One for the Clubhouse lobby, and one for the Mailroom.. Best Wishes
We stayed in this park for about 6 weeks. This is a really nice park, with spacious roads and sites, a fantastic clubhouse, pool, pickle ball and shuffle board courts. Very pet friendly. Most times of the day, people were walking their dogs. There is even a nice dog washing station. There are lots of planned activities and many active groups. But for us, the biggest advantage was wired Internet. They provide you a modem, and you have wired Internet at your site. As I work from the road, good Internet is important. This was true high speed access.
We have visited this site twice. Once last year with a group of friends and once early this year with a smaller group and had a decent time. The maintenance staff and staff out on the grounds was completely wonderful and helpful. The same cannot be said for the office staff. You can rarely get anybody on the telephone to inquire about anything unless you're making a future reservation. We inquired about holding a get together in late 2022 and were assured that we could have an area that would accommodate up to 50 units and would have access to the clubhouse to have various events in case of weather. This is not a party event but rather just to get together if people who own the same type of coaches. After our initial meeting with the office staff, they pretty much ignored any of our phone calls and emails to confirm that things were set up so we can start letting people know. Today, 2 months later, they finally answer the phone and tell us that they're no longer interested in holding rallies or large groups. The ownership has taken a different opinion and wants to focus on full-time residents. I'm okay with that if that's the way they want to run their business but why dangle us for 2 months before letting us know. We've lost 2 months of planning time to plan a different location.
