This court preys on individuals especially the young and minority's to fill its coffers and the pockets of its judges and grossly over-equipped police force. Judge Marla Parker states scientifically and historically false information during court as a reason for handing out punishments to people for minor offenses and/or things now decriminalized. Such sardonic lapses of judgment have occurred in this space for legal deliberation and the seeking of ethical and equitable justice. The Magistrates are rude, the front officers are rude. The only redeeming quality is the professionalism of the clerks and other desk staff who I imagine are very underpaid. Just about anything which can be done by the court to cause you - the taxpayer - an inconvenience and cost you money, will be done, and if you try and speak up, it will cost you more money or a lot of time. The reputation of this court in my mind is truly marred by the poor conduct of those who run it. What a shame. This court is a racket.
Sent me a notice to pay a traffic ticket in the mail but wrote over the amount due in sharpie. Called them and they sent me a new notice that said I had 14 days to pay. Paid 7 days later and they called me AFTER I paid the IMPEDING TRAFFIC ticket to inform me that they sent for my license to be suspended. The unintelligent person on the phone told me that they don’t let people know that they’re going to suspend their license, yet they can call me after the fact. Now my license is suspended and I have to pay $45 to reinstate it. This court is a mess and poorly managed. They got their money and still managed to cause more inconvenience for me. Next time I’ll be sure to take my ticket to court and waste as much of their time as I possibly can.
Since the court is closed due to COVID-19, I learned that I have to pay my violation on line. Only to find out that in order to use the online service you have pay service fee of almost 3%. So, since my violation is almost $1400 I had to pay $42 in service fee! This service fee was approved by the court supposedly. Our own court which is operated by our tax money is actually bluntly ripping us off any time possible. I understand that the service fee goes to a third party but whoever approved this service must have got paid huge kick back. Personally, I can afford it but how about the people who can’t and have to make payment plan or have to borrow the money so they don’t end up in court again and pay more in late payment.... It makes me sick to my stomach to learn that the court who supposedly represent justice is the biggest thief of all.
the security old white male with gray hair at metal detectors was extremely mean. he yelled at me to put down my three yr old child so I could hurry up and get through. I feel like skin color had a factor in his tone towards me. I watched how he talked to others and he wasn't rude to ppl that were white. just saying
I do not like the fact that my safety is in the hands of these rasist individuals. They are terrible, I guarantee if there was ever an investigation of racism at this location more than half of the staff would be replaced. There is not one minority employee in this location . As diversified as America is, its sad that I feel the need express these feelings in 2019. They treated me like a criminal not a tax paying citizen.
I had a small ticket on my vehicle basically rear tail lights got damaged. I had missed the ticket as i went out of state to mourn my grand parents . When i came back i came to know and this agency was so wonderful the lady who spoke to me explained things so well and I immediately cleared/paid the ticket and closed it. Thank u so much madam
I have been treated with the utmost respect from this establishment. The judge was very nice. Probation officer also very nice. Police officers very nice. Thank you for being so nice.
When we were children, it was nice to think the police were preventing crime and bringing justice to the ugly crooks in our cities. HA! So much has changed to hate every police organization that exists. Who enjoys getting pulled over, driving to work, for a brake tail light that is out during the daytime. Seriously, I've never been so stressed all day. They can't find my mountain bike or anybody's GPS that was stolen, but they'll HAPPILY give you a #u%king ticket to ruin your day.
Extremely helpful. If you're having issues, call them back later or the next day. There's a lot of people that work there that know what they're doing
Some representatives can be so nice yet some can be so rude doesn’t matter how polite you are but it’s ok glad i don’t have to see that place anymore.
