Ocean Park Beach

Good Parking. Restrooms. Perry's Snack Shack. Public picnic tables. Fruit Vendors. Wooden boardwalk to beach. Large LifeGuard Facility. Often, musicians. What's not to love!

Even though its getting cooler, its still a great location to walk around, ride your bike or bring a lunch to the big grass area and hang out. Its definitely one of my favorite hang outs!!

First time to Los Angeles CA wanted to see the ocean so me and my fiance drove to Ocean Park at Beach Was real clean and the people were very friendly. Love this place will definitely have to take another trip out that way soon

Volleyball all day and a magnificent sunset to start the evening. I wish. I could come to LA more often.

Do you want a fabulous experience, Ocean Park Beach is the place to go. In the many years that I’ve lived here, taking a walk on Ocean Park Beach rates as my most favorite place to go to. You can take the very famous Bike Path, North up to five miles or South, you can bike very far. Or you can take a walk by the waters edge and like me you might see porpoises or even gather sand dollars. If you are a local or just visiting this is a must go to spot.

Closest beach to downtown LA and I’ve noticed that it tends to be cleaner than other neighboring to the south beaches! I think this is because a lot of locals pick up other peoples trash and put them in the trash cans that are conveniently located ALL ALONG THE BEACH... there was one day when I came here and people had left trash all along Santa Monica beach. It was bad. But apart from that one day, I’ve been here 30+ times and it’s my favorite beach. Definitely crowded by all the shops on weekends, but it’s always beautiful down by the water. My favorite quick getaway.

You have to walk too long in the sand to make it to the water. The water is too cold. But the water temp is not Ocean Park at Beach’s fault.

It's a great atmosphere with grassy areas, plenty of beach, volleyball courts, and a Cafe. Good vibe!
