Ocean View Seafood Restaurant on Broad River Rd.

First time here, and everyone was welcoming. My server, Ms. Carolyne was great and attentive. The food was delicious Glad I decided to give it a try. I got the fried baby shrimp with fried whiting and a sweet potato and lemonade.Food: 5/5

My husband and I came today for dinner. All we did was fight flies. The waitress said yea I know you have to tell the manager I wasn't able to finish my food because I fly landed on my plate. I another fly landed on my drink. The manager said I'll take 10% off. No apologies or nothing. I only got to eat 1 oyster and 2 scallops. Really sad! He didn't care that I was writing a review!

I really enjoyed this restaurant . I went alone on the day before Christmas Eve . I had a excellent waiter named ebony. I wanted a salad but they were out of lettuce so She offered me clam chowder soup. This was my first time trying it because she said it was good. Sure enough it was. I enjoyed it. I ordered the special which included flounder, oysters , jumbo shrimp, crab cakes and scallops with hushpuppies and fries. The food came up pretty fast and was fresh and excellent in taste. I really enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely return!!

Stopped here for lunch with my husband todaymonday and were greeted by a very friendly staff and were sat at a table right away! We got a blooming Onion as an appetizer and both got the Monday special that had fried fish, fried shrimp, and chicken tenders. This also came with coleslaw and hush puppies and a side. I chose a baked sweet potato my husband got potato wedges. The food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was super nice and attentive we never needed to flag her down for anything she always came around at the perfect times making sure we were good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal at a great price. They have a large variety of foods and the prices are well worth it. We got so much food we definitely couldn't finish it all! Will be back!

The food and the location was actually great I just think they need to work on their atmosphere a little bit. They can spruce up the place make it look a little bit more inviting. Put their food was excellent in all actuality they gave you more bang for your buck. As far as your food portions go you are give me well worth your moneyFood: 5/5

Me 2ic and kids decided we wanted seafood so we decided to give this place a shot. When we got there. We were greeted and seated immediately. The service was fast. They got our drink order. And drinks to us fast. And took our order and the food was out pretty fast. Once and hot and fresh. But the food was good. No cap!!!!. The shrimp was amazing. The house cinnamon dip for the hush puppies was great.. the teas was nice and sweet just how I like it. Because everyone sweet tea. Not sweet. The only bad thing I have to say is the fish I had the perch. Never had it before. It wasnt seasoned. If it had some season it would have all been perfect. But I dont know if it was supposed to be seasoned or not. And the portions was good also. I hate alot.. amd still had alot of to take home in to go box. I definently reccomend this spot. They will see us again

This restaurant came up when we were searching for seafood in the area. We had to wait a few minutes as they are short staffed but it was well worth it. Ordered the fried scallop and oyster platter with hush puppies and a baked sweet potato. The hush puppies were shaped like onion rings first for me but delicious and not greasy at all. The portions are generous as I ordered the lite portion and still had leftovers. I highly recommend the she crab soup. Will definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

Ocean View is my favorite. The servers are always friendly, fast, and attentive. And the food is excellent. Last night I splurged and got a triple combo of broiled tilapia, salmon, and whitefish, and the meal was perfect, perfect, perfect. For seafood, we don't go anywhere else. A+!

For the most part I enjoyed the food however the environment doesn’t feel the cleanest the tarter sauce bottles were dirty so I was disappointed about thatFood: 4/5
