Great staff, and facility! Treated my puppy like family!
Awesome staff. I'm a retired MD. Our dog had knee surgery here, it was excellent.
OAH is a wonderful vet. Their staff is so friendly from the moment you walk in. All their vets and vet techs are so caring and you can tell they really want to help support your pets health. I used to drive up from Chicago for annual visits with my dog because I trusted their team so much. Would recommend!
I’m always treated with such kindness here and so are my dogs. I’ve been to several veterinary clinics in the past, but Oconomowoc Animal Hospital is by far the best! The clinic is always clean and never too crowded, and I’m consistently impressed by how thorough they are when treating my pets!
We have been going here every since we got our dog Bentley. They have always been so great to us with everything we’ve ever needed. When it’s something serious they always work with us to get him in as soon as they can. They’re always very thorough with their explanations of what’s going on and with the exams itself. Our dog is a huge baby when it comes to getting exams or shots but they’re always so sweet and take their time with him and make him as comfortable as possible. Even the receptionist are the sweetest people ever especially Lori! thanks for all that you’ve done for our little baby!
Clean, friendly environment. The staff were amazing and made my kitty so comfortable. They were very complete and informative. Returning costumer gauranteed!
I was charged approx $30 over the normal cost for my cat's exam. Didn't notice it when paying upon leaving, but noticed when I got home that it was more expensive than the last visit. Upon questioning the charge, I was first told that it was an extra charge for an emergency appt, but it wasn't an emergency appt. Then I was told it was an extra charge for a one hour doctor visit instead of the allotted 1/2 hour. But it wasn't a one hour visit, as we had to wait 1/2 hour in the room before anyone showed up. No apology for waiting, but ok. After multiple phone calls, they still haven't adjusted the charge. I won't be returning to this vet; there are other good vet choices. Guess I'll have to dispute the charge to my credit card company; that should never be necessary! I don't mind an honest mistake, but I do mind the manager there coming up with reasons that are not true.
Staff is always pleasant. Dr Zillmer is a super vet. So happy with every experience we have there
We lost our oldest today and she had been going to this hospital all her life. They helped us handle the end. She was 14+ years old. Very professional staff.
If you are vet shopping, LOOK NO FURTHER. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Katrin, Stacey and the other vet techs and staff at Oconomowoc Animal Hospital. As soon as you walk through the door, you and your pet are treated like family - not like a business transaction. They are patient, gentle, compassionate, loving and realistic. They do not recommend unnecessary procedures or testing and put the animal's best interest and well-being first regardless if it's a routine checkup or consultation for a major surgery. They are flexible, accommodating, responsive and tailor to the needs of the pet and owner alike. Their prices are fair and reasonable - much more so than other vets in the surrounding area. I have had my own dogs and have been training, fostering and rescuing for over 15 years. I have never met a more nurturing, positive and compassionate veterinary team. For the first time ever, my furkiddos are excited to walk through the doors of an animal hospital - that's how wonderfully they are treated here. Thank you Dr. Katrin, Stacey and the OAH team for all that you do. Lake Country Pet Owners, if you REALLY love your pets as much as you say you do, Oconomowoc Animal Hospital is the only place to take them.
