My child and I were very pleased with getting her braces! It was much more comfortable, quick and practically pain free than we had expected! The Dr and orthodontist dental team were first class! They gently carried out each step of procedure with my child's comfort their priority. Superb rating to attendant Hannah for continued updates and assurances to me about my child along the way.
After a long break, I came back to Ogden Valley Dental expecting the same level of quality and service. But I am totally disappointed with my visit with Dr. Savedra. Not only disappointed but frustrated. The cleaning was done with great care and she was knowing her job very well. I have only good things about it. But the dentist had no idea what she was talking about. She counted my teeth and said you are good to go. Only when I aske about my crown she said that its missinv and needs replacement. There were couple of more things we discussed. But everything was vague. The paper notes after summary were very vague. Later when I asked for the details, the notes were different than what we discussed. And then the reciptionist asked me that as per the notes I need to take an appointment with Dr. Savedra again. I dont understand the reason why should I see her agin when she didnt ask for any follow ups. Rather she said I was good to go befor I mentioned about crown. Now I said I want to check with another dentist. I was told that that will be an initial examination. I will have to take XRays again. I will be examined again as a new patient. I dont understand how I am a new patient if I am already coming to this office since many years. All my history, my Xrays, notes are with them. Totally disappointed and frustrated!
For quite a few years Ogden Valley Dental has kept my teeth healthy. When I first went to them, I had gingivitis, lost a few teeth and had cavities in some. After they treated me, I've had no problems at all and only needed cleaning for the past 4 years.
Had a dentist for 40 years. Made appointment here and they gave me infection from dirty tools. I’ve asked for my dental chart 6 times via phone and email and the office still hasn’t sent my chart so I can’t get work done anywhere else. They even got dropped by my insurance providers for bad service. Go anywhere else don’t even call this place. When you go there you’ll be getting dental work with 8 other people in the room. STILL WAITING ON MY DENTAL CHARTS! Anytime you’re ready to send thank you
Thru my insurance I sought out a periodontist which lead me to Atassi Amer. What a nightmare of an experience from Dr. Atassi Amer to the management staff here : lack of professionalism, care nor consideration. Dr. Atassi performed my surgery, couple days later one of the stitches that was wrapped around my tooth, snapped splicing my tooth. I called & reported to the office so it can be addressed with Dr. Atassi on my follow up appointment. Day of follow up, I am informed that none of the donor tissue took and my whole mouth is infected. Knowing that my mouth was infected and inflamed Dr Atassi began ripping the stitches out with no numbing agent or careful removal, just yanking I had tears running down my face. I sat down with Anna Tores the office manager & expressed my concerns on him lacking any bed side manner; I was told it would be discussed with her team. On my final visit I sat down with Dr. Amer to discuss the spliced tooth and how we were going to fix this. He proceeded to call me a liar, stating that never happened even though it was documented with the office the day it happened. Appalled again by his unprofessionalism I spoke to Ana on how we were going to have my tooth addressed. Per Ana and her 'management team' I was to go back to my dentist to review & confirm to them damage was done to my tooth. My dentist did confirm the tooth was damaged by DR Amer and to this day I have not heard anything back from Anna nor her team regarding this incident. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL........
When I woke up one morning with throbbing tooth pain, they were able to get me in at noon on a Saturday. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Turns out I had an infection in one of my teeth, causing the pain and anabiotic is working on clearing it up as I type this. I will be changing my dental healthcare to ogden Valley
I visited Ogden Valley Dental today to get my exam and teeth cleaned. The waiting area was cute and clean, Katie the hygienist was very thorough and informative and finally I would recommend for anyone of all ages.
Ogden Valley I a wonderful dental practice. Their office staff is very friendly, flexible and helpful. Every dentist I have worked with with highly competent with a great bedside manner. But my favorite is the dental hygienist Vashni. My teeth are so sensitive. She is gentle and thorough and kind. I sincerely enjoy all time spent with her. I’m so glad to be at Ogden and it’s worth the drive.
I was referred to Dr. Atassi for a surgical consult. Everyone was friendly. Dr. Atassi is very busy, and he knows exactly what needs to be done. He looked at my pictures then looked into my mouth and started saying numbers to his assistant. This was to chart how bad my gum disease is. Well at the end found out I have advanced gum disease! Dr. Atassi told me I needed to have deep cleaning done before I have surgery. Then another staff person came in to tell me the treatment plan. I went home knowing what needed done next, that was to call Dr. Aladdin Souman for my deep cleaning. Plus trying to figure out how I was going to pay for my surgery since my insurance won't pay anything for it.
I’ve been a patient at Ogden Valley Dental for years now. My husband used to go elsewhere but continued to run into issues. His appointments were constantly being canceled by his dental office. I told him that I never have problems with my dentist, and I receive scheduling emails that I can directly add to my calendar along with confirmation texts and phone calls which is great because otherwise I’d forget! He switched to Ogden Valley and continues to be a patient there. He no longer deals with cancellations and is happy there. Even though I don’t mind going to the dentist and am not afraid of needles or getting any kind of work done, the doctor always takes care in telling me what she is going to do beforehand as well as during the procedure. She is also great at reassuring me both before she starts and during the procedure. She makes me feel very comfortable. At my last appointment, I was running 20 minutes late and figured I’d have to reschedule. They were able to still get me in! In addition, I had to have a somewhat major procedure done and the dentist was able to start that same day instead of having to schedule another appointment. Also, I was cold in the office as I was dressed for the gym running late and they brought me one of those coats they wear to help keep me warm. The staff are all really friendly, helpful and down to earth. I always enjoy my visits with them and will continue to be a patient at Ogden Valley Dental as long as I am in the area.
