Atmosphere was spot on. Live music, on the water, everyone having a great time. Great way to enjoy a Saturday. This was a first visit for us. The oysters were good, the wings were fatty and could have been held down a minute or so longer, not much flavor. Comparable to a chain pizza joint wing, not memorable. The Tater tots same thing, not crispy at all. The garlic must be a liquid which saturated the tots and made them not edible. Online it said they had snow crab but the menu in the restaurant they didn't have them. Staff was absent, never came back to check in and get refills. Had to flag someone down for a refill. By that time food was cold. Would like to give them a second chance. We will see.
Good lunch, but not special. Good variety on menu. Excellent wait staff. Super terrace, except fans can't keep up. We had to move inside. Newly remodeled a couple years ago. Would certainly go back! We had a few beers, hence the over 20 each bill. Can get out with lunch and a drink for under 20. Each. Known for oysters, but not my bag. Went back again yesterday. They had only one waiter, but what a waiter! Best service EVER of anywhere I can recall. Johnnie is da man! He should get a raise! All alone, but he handled everything. Kept coming back. Didn't forget anything. Even got us a fan to wait for the sunset. And did it seemingly, effortlessly. Didn't seem rushed as a busy server sometimes does. Parking: Plenty, unless there is a band. Handicap spot. Only 1 as I saw it. Little hard to back out from in front cuz of the road. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps used. Should be contrasting colors painted, but in good repair.
This is a great spot for rustic, waterfront dining. The inside is a somewhat dark bar, but the open air patio and dock offer excellent waterfront options. It is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset, overlooking the lake. We had oysters on the half shell, wings, and mahi tacos. Everything was very good. The service was pretty slow, but that gave us more time to enjoy the lake and sunset.
This is a small local place. Not fancy on the outside, but we sat on the covered dock on the water. Very local and friendly atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Peel and Eat shrimp were freh and great! Traditional wings were fantastic! Daughter said crawfish were very good. Definitely glad we decided to stop and eat!Food: 5/5
I love going here on Friday nights. I love the live music and the food and service is amazing as well! We were lucky enough to meet these two locals who shared their table with us because it was clearly the place to be. This is one of those while in the wall places that you can’t ever forget and if you have an ounce of fun in you then you will be sure to have an absolute blast! We live about an hour away but we will make the drive from time to time just to enjoy the atmosphere and see the local drunk guy who calls you his beautiful ex wife all night long. I suggest the rum runner drinks and the wings are also amazing!
The end of the 'R' months for awhile so I had the oysters. Marvelous and JR introduced me to a new topping combo, OJ and sour cream. Sounds very weird but it is weirdly delicious. Ordered a burger which was a bit disappointing as it was over cooked for my taste. They cook them in an air Fryer so have no control over the internal temp. Oh well, I ate it and the bun was particularly good. Overall a fine visit.
It’s a great location and a good atmosphere. However, we arrived at 12:26 and we did not receive our food until 1:43. One of our party did not receive their oysters until 2:10. The waitress was very nice however after not seeing any staff for about 30 minutes we asked a man running food for a drink refill and he was agitated at the request. As a server I understand but the food was not good.
A beautiful view of the lake. Limited Menu but all I tried was good. Good local band, not too loud and just a great place to watch the sun go down. Also the cocktails were really good and unique.Food: 4/5
Advertises as dog friendly and very false. They have you go outside to a rundown unmaintaned area. Gives no table service and was actually rude when we entered the business. If you don't want dogs don't advertise for it. We drove 45 minutes to come here, never again!
This was our first visit. The food was very good, and the service was great. They're on the water, so we loved the view and the awesome live band. We'd definitely go again.
