Old West Rv Park

Smaller park but nice. It is very obvious the new management is making upgrades. The amount of new gravel is crazy, in a good way. The French around the park is also nice and new. They are adding tent sites. All in all it is being totally revamped. Downsides? The entrance and exit are a bit rough still, my middle Jack drug just a tad but all the new gravel meant no damage. Other downside is that for an overnight stay I thought it was a bit high price. I used electric only. No water or septic. Then again, all these upgrades are not free. Hard balance for the new management to figure out.

This is a very quiet and clean little RV park. And the new owner is improving it with more camping opportunities. Plus they have a few very small cabins to rent. Laundry room is very small only one washer and one dryer. Shower rooms are very clean. And the new owner is a very nice person.

Stayed here in September 2022 with a travel trailer. The spot was narrow, but level--not fancy, but sufficient for a home-base for easy access to Canyonlands and Arches/Moab without the Moab ridiculous prices! Restrooms were clean, with hot showers. Used the laundry. The dryer actually got the clothing dry in the first run for only $1. Something I never expect from coin-op laundry! Owners were friendly and helpful with a last-minute reservation. I was not able to decipher which site I was booking online from the map. When I booked the one closest to the road, she moved me to another site.

Newly renovated by new owner. Clean baths and laundry room. In town and close to everything. Not much traffic noise at all. Stayed for a month and used it as a hub for visiting everything in east Utah and western Colorado. Highly recommended.

Wifi was only usable close to the office. If you're making a right hand turn into the park with a big rig, cheat a lane over. You can get a big rig in but it's a small park.

I really like this place. It is small, but well kept. It has a remarkably good dog park relative to the overall size of the RV park itself. Really well built, no escape holes. Water pressure is wonderful and the internet is pretty good, but since it doesn’t have a TON of people hogging it, it stays good. Owners are really nice folks. We’d definitely come back.

I’m not sure why this park has received such good reviews. The online pictures looked great but when we arrived, it looked nothing like the pictures. Unkempt, extremely tight RV spots, expensive for what is offered. The dog run was filled with dog poo, which my husband cleaned up. A lawn mower was left at our camp site. The grass needed to be mowed and trimmed. The BBQ grill and covered area were a mess. I don’t know how they can get away with the fee. We travel a lot and have stayed at beautiful RV spots for much less. Unorganized.

What a cute little park and a delightful surprise on our way north to Moab . We drove by, turned around and rolled in without reservations. Esther greeted me on the porch with a big smile and checked us in no problems. Jim the owner showed us to our spot, chatted and offered up Dougs Steak and BBQ as a recommendation for dinner. YUMMEE. We had intended to roll through Monticello without stopping but boy howdy are we glad we stopped. Great little spot and highly recommend it. Friendly, level, clean, quiet.

Pretty and quiet rv park with excellent customer service. Quick to provide above and beyond assistance. Friendly. The canvas tents are beautiful, too!

Small rv park with cabins and tent sites. Has 1 washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate showers. Jim the owner runs the park for now, and puts on quick draw show Fridays weather permitting. I heard Jim is selling and new owners are planning to have Jim continue his shows. Jim also gave us some things to see we would not have found out about on our own. Small park near center of most major sites with friendly host.
