Ordered online for pickup during the week. Good quality breakfast that we all enjoyed. The Lemon ricotta pancakes had a nice flavor, ordered three but they were big enough that 2 would have been enough. Everything was really flavorful and presented nicely. Next time we'll try dining in.
I tried this restaurant for the first time with takeout. The staff seemed very busy, as it was a lunch rush. The food was well-made and unique... I've never had homemade coleslaw like that. The fish and tartar sauce were good. The sweet potato wedges were pretty good, although the skin was tough. The tea was so delicious - probably my favorite part. Everything had my name on it and I felt valued. The only issue I suppose is that the workers who come in no longer get a small discount... but small businesses suffered a lot during Covid-19. Oh well. Overall I had a positive experience here. I would visit again.
Great place for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. The portions are huge. My wife loved her mimosas and my coffee was good. The restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms. This will be our go-to breakfast or brunch place from now on.
We came in for lunch during our hiking trip and food was pretty good. I had the seasonal Cider Butternut squash Bisque which was really delicious. The Cafe Roasted Turkey Sandwich was tasty and I enjoyed it. We also tried the Sautéed Calf Liver and it was not bad. We would like to come back for breakfast for our next visit in MA.
Came here on a whim since our usual bf place in Lenox was closed -- and so glad we did!! Pleasant outdoor seating on picnic tables with bright umbrellas surrounded by trees & a small pond, or the shaded side porch. Excellent prompt service and the food was fresh & delicious -- everything with generous portions. They make their own chicken-apple sausage which was soo good! Eggs tasted country fresh with griddled thick cut ham. Bacon was thick cut and cooked perfectly. Yogurt came with homemade crunchy granola & an array of freshly cut fruit. Only negative was the coffee which was kinda bland & a little burnt. Would like to see them change to one of the local roasters in the area.. Overall, highly recommend & look forward to returning next time we are in the Berkshires!
Great food. The pancakes were the best on the trip through New England. The eggs were even cooked to order. A rarity even in home town restaurants. Mine was over medium I was expecting overhard but they actually were over medium. The server was friendly and attentive even though she was the only one on duty at the time We will visit here again on our next trip. Parking: Ample free parking.
First time we visited was fine so we came back the next time we needed to grab a bite to eat before Tanglewood. I was told there would be a half-hour wait for a table despite there being about a dozen empty tables with no reservation signs inside and several clearly available outside as well. Perhaps they would have seated me if I matched their apparent demographic of rich older couples without kids... if they have a dress code they should make it public so people know that they won't serve you in a t-shirt
Really delicious food here— the breakfast was hot, well balanced, flavorful, and satisfying. We got the breakfast burrito, eggs over medium, sausage homemade!! , and sourdough bread.
the lemon ricotta pancake --- half stack is all i need bcs its so decadent. pesto benedict is perfectly poached with that delicious balsamic and pesto
Great breakfast place. Took about half an hour to get the food for five people but it was worth the wait. Get the homemade sausage it is some of the best you’ll ever have. The outside dinning feels like your own English Garden.
