Description

Optimist Park is a place for sports, picnics and play. The park was developed in 2003 in partnership with the Nampa Optimist Football Organization. Football fields, soccer fields and baseball fields are all found at Optimist Park. With 15 acres of land, Optimist Park offers a great place to enjoy the vast open areas with the entire family. In 2005 the Nampa Little League Baseball Organization built two baseball fields in the park making the area a multi sports complex.
he park shelter is available for reservations to the public. Children will have fun on the playground equipment at Optimist Park. Nampa Parks & Recreation holds the free movie in the park series Silver Screen on the Green at Optimist Park throughout the summer.

They offer free movies in the park here that we go to every summer. They also offer concessions and allow food trucks like Stella's to set up here. Super fun.

Great park for the kids to play at. It is close to Birch Elementary School which is not accessible, and there are lots of wide open spaces for the kids to run around. There is also a fair amount of parking available, as well as bathroom facilities.

Big open area to play sports or have a picnic. Playground for the kids is a little small but there is also the school Playground next door

Really nice and clean park. Restrooms and alot of parking when plenty of shade.  Playground: Kinda small but very close to parking and restrooms.  Restrooms: Very clean and open.  Picnic area: No benches or tables but plenty of spots on the grass for a blanket and a picnic.

Small little playground with a nice open field close by for the kids to picnic or run wild.

Great park. Fun for kids. I love the MOVIE NIGHTS in the summer. Thanks INVOLVE CHURCH! It wouldn't happen without your involvement!

I think they could do a lot better my kid was in optimist football and they would book too many games on one field and they wouldn't have the other one ready to go so game was delayed. And I'm not to happy with optimism football program. They will play there own kid all game and every game and bench other kids or play them for a play or two. I paid $300.00 bucks for two kids and steal had there equipment to buy. And I fill it just wasn't  worth it.
