I just want to give five stars to Opus for showing that they care. I had my braces on for 3 weeks already and something happened to it and when I called my orthodontist, there is no one at the clinic that can fix it. So I started searching and when I called this office, they immediately said they can fix it and that I can come over. I just love how welcoming they are and willing to help me even if I’m not their client. Thank you so much and good luck to your future endeavors!
I brought 3 of my children here for braces. Dr. Barakat and staff are incredible. They put so much thought and care into their patients. We drive quite a long way to see this particular Doctor because she came so highly recommended. I will tell you it is worth the trip. They have accommodated my work schedule and treated my children like their own. I cannot say enough kind words about them. Three beautiful and confident smiles speak for themselves.
Dr. Barakat and her team truly provide an amazing patient experience. She is patient, professional and caring. We are so pleased with our daughter’s results after less than two years of treatment. She had not only cosmetic issues but major structural ones as well. Her teeth and smile look absolutely perfect now. We can’t even believe how incredible her results have been. My daughter is so happy that she now smiles with an open mouth, where she never used to. She is finally confident enough to show her teeth. We would recommend Dr. Barakat to anyone!
My 9-year-old daughter has my genetics and I had to have extensive jaw surgery and braces twice when I was younger. We went to see Dr. Barakat just after my daughter's 9th birthday and she was so positive about the treatment options for my daughter. We have phase 1 expander, braces, headgear going strong and the treatment is working well. My daughter's jaw is changing and growing in the correct way. We are so appreciative. We are comfortable and confident in Dr. Barakat's treatment. Additionally, her staff is super lovely and supportive.
I switched from a previous orthodontist to Dr. Barakat and I am so happy with my decision to do so. Dr. B takes the time to explain everything and gives you tons of feedback on how your treatment is going which I appreciate so much. One thing I commend Dr. B for, is that she continues her education to offer the best care possible. The staff & dental assistants are also very friendly and incredibly professional. I highly recommend Opus 1 to anyone! Ps I love that we get our names written on the welcome board.

I don't even know where to begin! Dr. Barakat is truly an artist. A PERFECTIONIST. She is very professional and knowledgeable in her field; she uses the latest technology to give you the most perfect smile as quickly as possible. I had a deadline for grad school and we were able to achieve my amazing smile with two months to spare! Her personnel and team Amber & Beth!! are very kind and wonderfully trained; they do their best to make you feel comfortable! The office is beyond clean and has a joyful, welcoming atmosphere. Scheduling was always a breeze and very flexible with my hectic work schedule. I truly had a fantastic experience choosing her as my orthodontist! This place is awesome! The space itself is absolutely beautiful - very clean and lots of attention to detail. The staff is very friendly & understanding, and seem to genuinely care about doing a great job. I received braces here and they did phenomenal work, the ladies here are professional and truly talented at what they do. I’m in sales and work with people from all around the world - I trust this team with everything to take care of my my smile! Don’t look anywhere else! Best ORTHODONTIST practice in Scottsdale! I did my research and I was recommended by a friend to go see Dr. Barakat and I am so happy I did! Dr. Barakat and her staff are 5 Star! They were so welcoming and knowledgeable! My consultation NEVER felt rushed and never pushy and Dr. Barakat was so detailed with very advanced x-rays and more and really took the time to explain everything to me in great detail. Dr. Barakat and her staff make my son feel so welcomed and explain everything in depth with terms that he can fully understand! Every time we walk into the door we are greeted with smiles and on a first name basis! The staff is WONDERFUL!! I have nothing but great things to say about this place! Not to mention the office is very well kept and extremely clean! Don’t look any further- this is the BEST! I LOVE the time they spend explaining everything to me and my son! Always smiling! This place has the newest technology and Dr. Barakat is very knowledgeable!!! She gives 110% every time! You will NOT be disappointed!!!!!
I cannot say enough about how much we love Opus 1!!! I have had two children receive treatment, and we are so happy with the care their team provides. The office staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Barakat takes the time to get to know her patients and their families. She explains the treatment plan thoroughly to parents and the kids so everyone knows what to expect. We have had a wonderful experience!!!
