What a perfect day to have 100+ ackers of railroad wonderment. My wife and daughter enjoyed it even though it was more for Papa. Love you girls. It was very well narrited by 1 of many well-informed tour guilds. Plenty of parking and trams are available, but in most cases, to see the entirety of the exhibits is necessary due to the large are the museum encompasses. Men will love it and so will the boys. Let's jot forget to is a outdoor venue so dress accordingly.

We went to the Dino Train event this weekend. My grandson 2 1/2 was a bit afraid of trains. Simply because we were on a walk several weeks back and the Metrolink Train tooted it's horn before crossing the street. Which was the right thing for the train, but totally scared our grandson. So I wanted a fun/safe environment for him to get onto a train. This event worked like a charm. He now loves trains again and totally enjoyed riding on the train and trolley. Thank you so much for a great experience for him! And us!

The train is fun, the trolleys are fun. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Really nice museum not bad price to ride the trains they have the old ticket booths from disneyland an old trolly car from knott's berry farm and a train owned by ward Kimball disney animator alot of history from trains and rail cars from Los Angeles just alot of history a must do if your a train lover
If you are into trains, THIS is the largest collection of trains, cable cars and busses in southern California. Be sure to take the guided tour as it will get you into the vast array of trains with a very knowledgeable guide/enthusiast. Look for seasonal events like the Thomas Train and the Polar Express events. Great for young and old alike!
Had lots of fun here it's not just the trains but history behind the trains for me
Nice museum with a fantastic selection of streetcars, locomotives, and other rolling stock. You can, for a fee, learn how to drive a streetcar or locomotive and drive it around their property for an hour, either on their loop or short mainline track. Highly recommend taking the $3 tour with a docent, you’ll get a lot more out of your visit. Super quiet on a weekday visit, busier on the weekend and much busier during special events.
