Oskar Blues Grill & Brew

About

The Original. The heart and soul of Oskar Blues keepin’ it real in Lyons, ColoRADo w/ great beer, tasty eats, live tunes & a whole lotta fun!

Description

The original Oskar Blues restaurant and home of the original CANtastic brewery! Grill & Brew features OB cores & visiting crafts, a soul-savin’ Americana-inspired menu, and local and national music acts that are sure to keep you groovin’!

CRAFT BEER: As the birthplace of Dale’s Pale Ale and original home of the brewery, OB Grill & Brew has a rich history that reverberates throughout the restaurant! While all of the Fooderies pour our core and seasonal beers, not all of them get to host extra-rare pilot batches of new concoctions being brewed next door! So if you want the best of old and new, go to the source!

FRESH INGREDIENTS: Since 1997, we’ve been cookin’ up Southern-style Creole and Cajun dishes alongside classic Americana offerings like burgers, slow-smoked BBQ and homemade pizzas. Fresh ingredients are vital in creating the consistently enjoyable dishes we serve. That’s why we consciously source our ingredients from local purveyors and use Hops & Heifers Approved Angus beef.

LIVE MUSIC: The only thing we enjoy more than delicious grub and tasty brew is live music. The Grill & Brew always has and always will pack the house with local and nationally touring acts playing all the genres our town enjoys: blues, bluegrass, folk, roots, rock, reggae, Americana, country and everything in between! Join us Tuesdays from 8-11pm for our Bluegrass Pick, Friday & Saturday nights from 9pm-midnight for 21+ shows, and Sundays from 6-9pm for all-ages/no-cover shows fun for the whole family!

FAMILY & FRIENDS: The amazing folks in Lyons, Colorado welcomed us with open arms nearly 20 years ago and continuously support us to this day. We consider all of our guests family, because that’s how they’ve treated us … like family. As a local business, we find it extremely important to give back to the community that has uplifted us since the beginning. From hosting and catering family get-togethers to sponsoring local events, we want Lyons to know that the entire Oskar Blues brand appreciates their friendship and supports their endeavors.

The Grill & Brew is conveniently situated across the street from Sandstone Park on the main drag of downtown and can be accessed from both Main St. and Broadway. So whether you’re heading into or out of the Rocky Mountains (or live down the street!), we hope you’ll swing by and say hey!

#GETINHERE and see what all the fuss is about! #OBGB

I must admit I was a bit hangry when we entered this restaurant. But my mood changed when I noticed how clean and well maintained this establishment was kept. Our server Moe politely introduce himself and was well-versed in menu. I was a bit hesitant, asked a few questions and ordered. I had the wings and turkey sandwich my wife had the catfish poor boy sandwich. My wife enjoyed the poor boy and those were damn good wings. The sauce pared very nicely and had a spicy kick!! I could eat 2 orders of those wings easily. In my opinion that turkey sandwich has to be the best I tried in this city. I could tell the the Chef took great care in preparing our food. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and colleagues. The prices are not bad at all and also the restrooms are cleaned and well-kept. Sorry about the pics, we begin eating before taking pictures.
This place never disappoint with great service at the bar and consistently good food. Salmon salad is my go to, but fish and chips also great. Very reasonably priced with beers starting at 5.50 and crazy good happy hour.Food: 5/5
Solid service and meal, could turn up the lights towards the back. The pretzel was legit and great sauces. The pickles, spears are never a favorite of mine but they did it as best they could, good batter. The salads were good for sure and turkey pesto sando was good.Food: 5/5
I like Oskar Blues, a lot actually... but the service is what keeps me from loving it. The food always seems to be great, and the atmosphere is fun. This particular time, a girlfriend and I sat at the bar to have an early dinner. It wasn't busy at all, so it was a little frustrating that the bartender took 10 minutes to grab us waters. Thankfully, we weren't in a rush, so we just dealt with being ignored. Maybe the bartender was burnt out or was having a bad day?? Not a huge deal, but it's the only thing holding the establishment back, in my opinion.
It's always a great spot to go to. The beer selection is amazing! They have over 61 beers! The Jambalaya was perfect.Food: 5/5
Reserved the back area and patio for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Had 70 or 80 people. Wonderful appetizers and deserts and and a great taco bar. And and service was absolutely amazing. Supposed to run from 6 to 8 but they had no problem with last of us leaving at almost 10 pm. If you want a great relaxed venue for a gathering look no further.
chill go-to spot in the springs. good burgers, great beer options with a bar and big tvs that play sports their sweet potato fries are great. I ordered the peanut butter nitro stout SOO good. The chicken bacon avocado croissant is yummy, but messy to eat! I used a fork honestlyFood: 4/5
Great selection of beer and some really good food. Try the trustifaarian burger sounds strange but really good. Also had the prime rib sandwich, tender tasty meat....Food: 4/5
Fun and delicious! Everything was amazing and service was fun and relaxed. Best non alcoholic beer in a long time! My fish and chips was one of the best in town. My fries were so good that a guy walking by on the street stopped and commented how amazing they looked so I offered him some and we sat and enjoyed the fact that the fries were truly above-average. Also as a side note: I love the fact that this town is so relaxed that a stranger can comment on and eat off of someone's plate and feel comfortable.
“Love it, or leave it.” We definitely loved it here. Delicious Food.. loaded fries are so amazing. Burgers were good too. Beer selection is nice. Great service.Recommended dishesBurger, BBQ Burger, Loaded Fries
