I know I am late in writing my revue . But I am thinking of your delicious food. You did an excellent job catering and cooking for my grand daughter's quenceneria 2 yrs ago my family is still talking about it. Now we are planning a Family reunion and I will call you again.
Incredible Food that I'm always dying to eat.Food: 5/5
can never get ahold of this place. i dont think they are still in business.
If you are into roasted pork, then THIS is the place to order Lechon. My dish was enough for 2 ! I love restaurants that serve generous portions. Service was excellent, presentation was good. My wife ordered the chicken, which was TENDER. Not overcooked and dry like some other Cuban restaurants i won't mention. The rice and beans were fresh. Plenty of parking.
I used to love coming here when it first opened. Food had gone down since then. Always seems like tht for places. It's Ike when u first meet someone it's all gravy but then it get dry. Lol well I do like the potatoe balls there bomb. N the green sauce is great. They r open rn n serving the city n not doing catering for the studios... So thts a plus.
Spectacular Food! The food is to die for and the family running it is endearing. Be sure to ask for specials since you might not otherwise hear them and call ahead as the hours are not always regular. Highly recommend the Cubano Sandwich!
The 3 stars is not for the food. The food is excellent. But this restaurant is so inconsistent with their hours that you never know VW hen they are open I thought it was just us, but it is a common complaint from our friends who live out here. My advice. I just went by again. They are closed but say they are open. I'm done
The Best food in SCV! This our family favorite. They previously had random hours due to catering. I'm so glad they are now open. If you're in town, this is a "must eat at" restaurant.
The food is very good. Fast and casual service. I have been here a number of times and only once has there been another group. Has always been quiet. Only downside is the limited menu options.
Sadly the food lacked quality and the service was terrible. Very little food choice available at 7 pm on a Saturday night, actually we were the only customers. We ordered lechón asado which is one of the main dishes of our traditional cuisine we are Cuban. Our plate had a ice cream- sized scoop of rice, an equally small portion of flavorless black beans; and very greasy shredded roasted ? salty pork. The standard lechón asado is large pieces of roasted marinated pork, served with plenty of rice and at least a cup of beans. The rice served to us was sticky Asian style rice and only 2 slices of fried plantain. This plate is traditionally served with warm Cuban bread but we could not get any because the “cook was busy” and we would have to wait the cook was the only person in the kitchen and actually he was taking out the trash. The only drink available to us water. Extremely disappointing!!!
