3 stars because the quality of the meat is not top notch. The meat had a lot of fat. The burger was good. The loaded baked potato was good. The lobster tail was awesome! Corey was our server and he was phenomenal. 5 stars alone for Corey and his excellent customer service skills.
Service is great, but the actual food is mediocre. We had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and rice. The chicken serving was so small and extremely dry. Mashed potatoes were good but rice tasted like school lunch rice. We also had the chicken and shrimp pasta, which was better than the other plate. The shrimp was delicious and the pasta was okay. The strawberry salad was Also very delicious! The actual place is nice, but lacked in cleaning since the floors were very dirty and tables were sticky.
Great steak, and the Bloomin’ Onion is always a favourite. I come here a few times every trip out to San Jose for dinner - I love sitting at a bar as a solo diner, and you’re always made to feel welcome here. I had the 9oz Filet Minion today, which was cooked perfectly rare and seasoned well. The cut was good. I had the Bloomin’ Onion petals as a side - a good tip as the full portion is enormous and never gets finished! I have dropped a star as the waiting staff were quite dismissive and rude this time - there are multiple doors into the restaurant but no signs telling you where to go to be seated - I waited for a few minutes then was told rudely I needed to go to the other door, rather than to just sit at the bar, where there was free space. There was also a lot of people complaining to the manager about the food delivery times - some waiting over an hour. I didn’t experience this - my food came out within 10-15minutes, but I did order my steak rare so it’s cook time is less.
Nice place for steak or combo. Had steak with a bowl of soup and salad. Good hang out dinner with their beer on the tap. But do make reservations if you do not want to wait. Waited abt 30 mins to get a table.Food: 4/5
The food was delicious and the service was the best I've had at any steakhouse restaurant. Wonderful server, Jaylene, was attentive and smiling the whole time. Plus, she gave great recommendations. I will definitely be back again.Food: 5/5
The shark drink Aussie jawsie was fun and delicious, but so sweet I couldn’t finish it. It was like drinking fruit concentrate.The bloomin onion is apparently too big for two people, so we were offered a bloomin onion plate instead, and that was the appropriate amount. Bread and butter good. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, cuz everything else was so expensive, and it was unfortunately pretty dry. The server was very nice and formal.
The food was good, but the service was really terrible as you could nowhere find the waiter in two hours My family was there from 8:00-10:00pm. I understand the weekend is usually busy, but it should not have been the case that drink came after 30 minutes and after the request to cancel the drink. I had to wait for 15+ minutes to get the check done! Obviously, I let the manager know and also wrote five on the check as a service comment. Try to avoid the weekend if you can! I seldom rate service below 4, this one could only get 1 out of 5.
I think Outback has lost some of its flair. The food was good, small portions but reasonable. My son stated the fried chicken was better than the steak. The restaurant could use a remodel and service was very basic. I would return for food.Food: 4/5
We had the most amazing time and this has been the best Outback experience because of our server, Justin! His cheerful and genuine personality was contagious. He was a positive and happy presence and turned a normal dinner into a night to remember!
Place is too over rated. Took a long time to get seated, place was not even busy, took longer to get our order, took more longer to deliver the food, when food came it was not even that presentable, i ordered their house burger, $19, the patties were really small..and most of all i ask for an extra patty, a small patty cost $9.00..freaking $9.00 for a small piece of meat..not coming back here again. Whatever happened to this place, before it was a good place, now its just has gotten too expensive..
