Excellent experience. Very thorough skin Check. Had biopsy from face and was very delicate. Left almost no mark. Thank you Julianne Prete!
As senior citizens, we very thankful that Florida Dermatology Associates is in our community and is only a phone call away. Thanks again for taking off our physical needs as needed.
Courtney was fantastic w my Mother and the whole staff at the Cocoa Beach office is very friendly and helpful ! Highly recommend.
Jeannette is wonderful, super kind and caring. She takes her time and does a great job.
My husband and I have been going to the Cocoa Beach office for about 10 years. The doctor and staff are fantastic. We see Julianne Prete who is amazing. Such a beautiful and kind person. She actually calls me back personally when I have a question. Every time I walk in, I am always greeted warming by Tina and Lisa, such nice ladies. A special thank you to Kerri who always takes her time to answer all my questions. She also calls back promptly when I request a callback. When I have Mohs surgery, Dr Moreno is gentle, fast and kind. I always feel I'm in good hands when he does our surgery.
Front desk staff were polite and attentive. The PA interaction was not similar. With the exception of the 2020-2021 Covid period, I have had the same procedure done once or twice a year for many years, first with my dermatologist in Georgia and then with FDA upon retiring to Cocoa Beach. The PA may have neglected to review my record before entering the room. She seemed more interested in up-selling me to a second visit than attending to the intention of the current visit. I left. Felt more like I was at a used car lot than a medical office. Update - After receiving a call from the practice, a follow-on appointment was made with a different PA. The PA interaction was much different re-establishing my intent to use this practice in the future.
I've had a good experience with the staff at the Cocoa Beach location, but my biggest issue is the lack of being able to secure message medical information to the offices. Fax is just not the only method that should be used, and the office needs to find a better more efficient way to receive medical information from a patient.
My wife got very on time and thoughtful service at the dermatology center. I had been to office last year and was very pleased as well.
My husband and I went for our annual check-up. I don't know the Dr, I only saw the PA and the staff. The staff was kind and thoughtful but the PA was abrupt, lacking any bedside manner, and neglectful in her performance as a medical professional. The PA discovered 2 pre-cancerous areas on either side of my face. I was given 2 options for treatment. Having never had pre-cancerous areas before I asked questions. The PA was abrupt and not helpful in my decision making. After the PA left the room, I questioned her assistant about the treatment, she gave me suggestions as to how to apply the medication. I then asked her to show me the two pre-cancerous areas to treat because the PA had not shown me. During the exam, the PA had tapped her finger on them, but I was not visually shown the areas. It was going to be a guess on my part as to where to apply the medication. Not to mention if in the future I saw something similar it might be good to know. The assistant handed me a mirror and kindly and specifically showed me the areas. My husband also had a similar opinion about his appointment. This was only our second appointment at this office. I think we'll find somewhere new for next year's check-up.
