Toured property, but decided against it. 1. Cafe/bar is closed based off other reviews, it's been a long time. 2. Hot tub hasn't worked for a YEAR and a half. 3. Pool is closing at end of year for a complete overhaul. The pics of the pool area on their website are the concept plan, not what's actually there, which I found totally deceptive. They hope the pool is available in time for next spring but sounds like that won't be the case. 4. Small community pools are closed for maintenance. At least Green River was. 5. Steam rooms don't work either.? Wait, what amenities ARE ACTUALLY FUNCTIONAL here?? 6. Greystar took over ownership very recently. I've dealt with them once which was enough. Maybe it will be a nice property again when all their amenities work, but for now it's just not worth what they're asking when pools, hot tubs, and the bar are closed indefinitely.
Palomino Park has been my home since 2021. Overall in the community it's one of the better options if you are looking for a home-like environment. The community of people who live here are generally friendly and this is a safer part of the community. Compared to other places for rent in the area if you are looking for an attached garage, beautiful mountain views, and a garden tub this is a better option. I can't give Palomino Park 5 stars but I can give 10 stars to the people who make this place positive. Caryl Baldwin - Red Canyon- 10 Stars ********** Red Canyon Maintenance Team - 10 Stars ********* Gatehouse Team - 10 Stars ********** Points to be aware of before moving here and understanding why this place doesn't get 5 ***** 1. This is NOT resort style living, but they advertise it as it is. The entire community hasn't had a hot tub since I moved in and everything has been under construction since. In there new 300 page lease they make you sign a "non-participate in class action suit" which by law this would be dismissible in court, so Palomino/Greystar are not above the law just because you sign a waiver. We haven't had a Cafe' since before I moved in and we are basically lied to saying we are going to get one but nothing has ever happened with it. 2. They make you pay extra for "valet trash" which I have used once, other than that your trash will sit on your porch for days, so just take it out yourself. 3. I have asked if I can rent out the common area for family events and I have been told no I am not allowed to rent out that space. 4. The Amazon Packages are not 24/7 access, you only have access to it certain hours of the day even tho you have FOB access. 5. The gatehouse has a new policy where they let anyone in if you tell them you are here for a pick up. Kinda scary if you live here for the security. 6. The Police are always here, not sure what's going on but it's a little excessive for a "safe community" 7. When I first moved in my neighbors unit was infested with mice and the issue migrated into my house but was addressed and haven't had issues since. 8. People steal here, my portable speaker was stolen at the pool and tools out of my garage were also stolen. Be aware of your surroundings. 9. Pinnacle owned this place first and sold it to Greystar and who knows if they will sell it again but every time they do that it's like starting all over again. We have had 3 General Manager's since 2021. It's like nothing ever gets done and there isn't any progress. 10. They also changed lawn companies and they usually leave a bigger mess of your sidewalks and patios filled with leaves and debris so just know you are probably going to be cleaning up after them every time they come. 11. Gym equipment, a lot of the equipment doesn't work like it's supposed to. Anytime I've tried to use the "virtual classes" they aren't working. So I pay for a membership elsewhere.
I don’t live here anymore i moved almost 3 years ago and from what i hear from people that still do is that the pool is still closed in the green river that closed when i lived there and not to my surprise the bar and cafe are still not open either? They promised those would be open about 3 times while i lived there. I hear it has changed management companies a few times. I cant imagine what rent is going for now. For as much as they charge the least they can do is open a dang pool. Are the pickle ball courts at least open?
Seamless application process, each leasing agent I've spoken with has been friendly and helpful. When touring the property it's very clean, quiet, and felt very safe. Even with ongoing construction to the amenities there is still plenty to do in the community. Great value for the area!
Please ***STAY AWAY **** from this place if you excepting a PLEASANT STAY, PIECE OF MIND and more importantly RESPECT !!!. A WORST MANAGEMENT I WOULD EVER SAY !!! The Greystar managementParticularly in Blue Ridge is too sturdy and do not care about the existing residents, it has been a downhill in every aspects like amenities, customer service, etc. The club house pool is under renovation for the past 2 years and i wouldn't know that renovating the pool would take that long. Iam staying in Blue ridge for the past 2 years and i would like to share the recent worst experience with management. Recently the carpet cleaning guys who came to clean the carpet in my neighboring building was trying to fetch water from my building since they ran out of water, but unfortunately the pipe was broken and water flooded inside my house and it is everywhereBed room, Closet, Bathroom, Study room and even the store room except the living room. On reporting this incident to blue ridge management they did not do anything apart from calling back the guys to clean the carpet. Most of my personal items were damaged, Post 2-3 hours of drenching down the water the carpet cleaning guys told me that it would take another 2 days to dry-up everything and they have kept dehumidifiers and more than 6 blowers in my house. I went over to Blue Ridge manager and requested for an alternate stay for a night since the carpet was completely wet all over and the carpet cleaning guys applied some antimicrobial on the carpets to avoid the stringent odour. But without even checking the condition of the apartment the Blue ridge manager said the apartment is liveable which was reported to them by the maintenance team. I have been requesting her to walk with me to the apartment to check the condition once which was rejected without even talking a second look and also i have been told to reach my Renters insurance to get an alternate stay. Why do we need management even if we did not get assistance in such worst situation at my no fault. They have never felt sorry for this so far and did not reached out to me for further assistance and iam really feeling bad to stay in such a place where residents are not even treated as humans.
Constant never ending construction. We have had construction dumpsters right outside of our units for over a year now and constant never ending renovation noise pounding on the walls all day long. Have asked office staff multiple times about when this will end and they are all completely clueless about it. Absolutely not worthy insane amount of money. It cost to live here.
My AC has been out, so I called maintenance. I asked them to please call me when they would be able to come by so that I could put my dog up. I got a call about a week later saying that they tried to go fix my AC, but that my dog was not locked up. That is because you did not call me and let me know when you were coming. Today, I walked into the office because it has now been three weeks that my AC has been out and they said that they would have maintenance out there in 30 minutes. Of course this never happened. I’ve called 6x and am unable to get in contact with anyone from the office.
Don't live here if you: like to sleep in the mornings, like to sleep at night, like to sleep ever, work from home, wake up early, have a newborn baby, read books, watch tv, generally value silence, or are not deaf. Every time they price out one of your neighbors, you will have construction 10-12hr/day, nearly everyday. The power tools begin before the sun comes up and they end shortly after. Hope you don’t like sleeping, ever! It would be one thing if they made you aware before it happened, or if it didn't occur during every waking hour or for months on end, but none of those are the case. I have not lived here for even a year and it is evident that my money would have been better spent elsewhere. P.S. you will pay exterminator fees but an exterminator will never come, it's awesome witnessing theft in real time and having receipts to prove it
It is good and bad as most apartments are. We received a washing machine upon move in that was absolutely filthy and all they did was send maintenance to run washing machine cleaner through it, which we could have done ourselves. I still had to scri. It to get it cleaned. We didn't even want the washer and dryer, which was not in the unit when we first viewed it. When we came to sign the lease they told us the unit came with a washer and dryer and that we could not opt out. We pay $35 a month for them and they are not even new or working well. Other things that don't work well are the oven, the dishwasher and the AC units are on top of the buildings and they are loud. The office sometimes will do what they say they will. If they are there. Maintenance is middle of the road, too. Also, they began outside maintenance to repair and paint the buildings in Blue Ridge around September or October and our building and the one next to it are partially painted a new color and other buildings including ours have some work done, but nothing has been done since early November so we're here looking at all this half done work and two building with a quarter of the building in a different color. Dog poop is an issue. And if you have a large dog be prepared to scare an Indian person on the daily just by being outside.
Stay away from this place. I lived there from 2015 to 2021. It was a great place years ago but now it’s terrible. Still to this day they send me bills for normal wear and tear. They completely remolded the apartment we were in because it was old but are sending me bills for the kitchen linoleum that was hideous. Don’t believe the good reviews, it’s a terrible place. Greystar is not a good company. When owned by pinnacle it was fabulous. Just curious, is the bar open yet?
