We have been visiting Estes for many years and decided to stay at Paradise on the river on this trip. Upon arrival and throughout our stay the staff and owner were very helpful with anything we needed. The property is very well maintain and the sound of the river was so relaxing. Our puppies enjoyed the sound and view from the deck. I highly recommend this property to stay at for anyone who is visiting Estes.
My husband and I recently stayed at Paradise on the River and, indeed, it WAS Paradise on the River!!! Our cabin was literally on the Big Thompson and hearing the rushing water was soooo peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was perfect for 2 people and had everything we needed full kitchen, fridge, full bath, bedroom, sofa, deck, fire pit, fireplace inside...it was just wonderful. Cathy is who we worked with in the office and she was so kind & helpful!! We will be back at least every couple of years if not more often.
Stayed in a spot on the river for 3 nights in a 21 ft van, was lovely. Showers & toilets were perfectly clean and the sites were all clean and tidy. Owners were very accommodating and we especially loved the picnic table right beside the river, though it is a slightly more expensive site - we paid $90 per night. Would stay again!Rooms: 5/5
Amazing pocket RV park on the edge of Estes Park but the secret is that they are a mile from entry to Rocky Mountain Natl Park while being almost that close to the cute downtown social area. The park was spotless, beautifully landscaped and visited daily by elk down from the mountains. Enjoyed it immensely!!!Service: 5/5
Best place to stay in estes park. Been going here for few years. Cabins are perfect. Fishing outside the cabin is greatRooms: 5/5
We stayed in the Aspen cabin which is very nice - especially clean. It is right on the river. I’d suggest trying to get the large cabin if you have a large group. There are also two cabins at the end of the area which have more privacy and hot tubs. The managers set up 3 tables for our group to eat at. The managers are very helpful and nice. Safeway in town has lots of food options, but is very crowded and not enough staff. There is another grocery near the intersection of 36 and 66. We prefer it. The complex is crowded, but if you have a spot on the river, you have some privacy. We had the Aspen cabin which is very nice. I'd prefer any of the cabins. Some of the cabins has bunk beds for kids. The porch on the river is spectacular…easy to just sit and relax
Absolutely delightful place to get away for a few days. The location is perfect, minutes from downtown and RMNP, but tucked away from traffic. All of the cabins overlook the river, and you can hear and see it from anywhere inside the cabin/on the deck. The cabin is also perfectly maintained—clean, with all amenities you’d need. It’s really the thoughtful little details that make a place like this! All in all, one of the most peaceful, relaxing, and refreshing places we’ve ever stayed. We’ll be back!
Stayed in the Antlers Point cabin in mid June. The cabins are close to each other but we never noticed our neighbors because of the well placed patio shades and white noise from the river which was extra strong due to the recent snow. Everything was very clean and matched the description. Bed was comfy and rooms cool with the windows open at night. They also provided a pack and play and baby gate which came in handy. Our toddler loved walking around the cabin and patio and we felt very safe with her exploring. The view really cannot be beat. Staying at the cabin was probably the highlight of our trip. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone visiting RMNP!
We stayed at Paradise on the River on RV site #5. Beautiful site with a great deck. Loved hearing the river all day and night long. Easy to get into our camper all in is just shy of 30'. The staff was awesome helping us back into our site. There is a fire ban but they rent propane fire pits with a tank for only $10 a night. Great spot to stay to explore RMNP! FYI, I had to book 1.5 years in advance.
We spent about a week in Estes Park and stayed in the Hallets Peak cabin at Paradise on the River. This cabin was wonderful and we had plenty of room to spread out for a family of five. It was right on along the river. This cabin could accommodate 10 people--three bedrooms but two out of the three had two beds plus a loft area with a bed. There was a fully equipped kitchen. A great deck with a gas fire pit and a grill. The location was ideal. So close to everything--Rocky Mountain National Park, downtown Estes, Aerial Tramway, Lake Estes, great eating places and Fun City. The people running/managing the cabins were friendly, helpful and willing to provide their recommendations and directions to the park. Anyone looking for a place to stay--this is ideal and would highly recommend!
