Nice place. The old boat house was really cool to see, with all the old photos of what it used to be like. You can fish there, but it's only catch and release. Trails are not very long at all, but still a beautiful place to see. Costs $8 for the daily pass for WI residents. Which includes all parks statewide, not just that particular park.
It is the perfect hidden gem! We had a lot of fun with small children there, there was SO MUCH to see! The water is so clear. We saw a bunch of wildlife, there's a decent size pavilion, that had outlets, that was perfect for a snack. It's not big but super cute. Really great for pictures. There is NOT a lot of parking though if it's a busy day. We plan on returning! Restrooms: It's an outhouse, not running water. Picnic area: There's a pavilion off to the side that had at least 4 2 sets of outlets - we didn't use them but I would assume they worked. It was nice.
The water here is so clear you can watch the trout! Nice short walk from car to path that goes around the whole pond. Great pier to fish off of. No live bait and only catch and release.
Beautiful spot. Simple trail for a shorter hike. No dogs allowed. Half paved trail. Pit toilets. Picnic area. Restrooms: Pit toilets Dog-friendliness: No dogs allowed on trail.
Great little trail around the spring. There is history that can be read before you go. Or from the trail guide available for pocket change. Make sure you bring cash for the park fee. Full disclosure I don’t really care to hike or walk really far. But this little trail takes just long enough to make it worthwhile to visit. But not so long you regret your decision.
Beautiful area, not too far of a walk to the pond if you are someone who cannot walk far. It is apart of the Wisconsin state park system so you do pay a fee to enter or just buy a park pass for the year and you are set to go.
It was beautiful! The path is short and paved. It would be good for a stroller walk.
Nice little park area. No donations today however as there is a huge beehive in there!
It's been a while since we've visited Paradise Springs. Took our kids 4 and 6 years old there, it's a lovely trail. We saw trout fishes, painted turtles and snapping turtles. I highly recommend it for families to take little ones hiking and it's worth the experience to learn about the old mills.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Really cool place. Definitely worth going to see. You are not supposed to go in the water. Nature has taken much of the place back. But it is very beautiful and the water is very clear. There lots of structures and pools mostly man made or at least altered. One pool has a lot of turtles. They put some wood "bridges" so they can get out. Otherwise they would be trapped. Its cool to think what the place once looked like. Its an amazing place for sure.
