Hotel itself was nice, certain rooms had patios connecting to a fenced in play area with a fire pit and the Arcade was full of fun games for the kids. Our room had stains across the walls and the sliding door to the patio was busted and was difficult to open and close. The Waterpark looked nice from the photos but it's actually quite small. No one was enforcing the rules so it was not as pleasant as it could have been. The restaurant was nice, food was good, and service was good. Overall it wasn't bad, but for the price I expected a lot better and nicer than what there was.
The water park is a lot of fun. The temperature inside was very comfortable for only wearing swim wear. However, two things kept me from rating it 5 stars... The addition of the wave runner is great for older attendees, but there is no kids pool area anymore, so one will have to monitor their tiny kids. And, they no longer provide towels! You'll need to take your own unless you're staying in a hotel room. All in all, very fun experience, but be prepared to take your own towels off only going for the day.
We stayed 4 nights, and our room wasn't serviced either day. It's a shame considering what we paid. Waterpark was nice, location was even better. Sitting on the deck after getting wet was so relaxing. Restaurants all around, there's this Mexican restaurant not to far away maybe a ¼ mile down the road. Magnificent!! Their salsa recipe is to die for really delicious. Food & drinks: The in-house restaurant expensive, a cheese pizza was $19 smh
Me and the girls loved it. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was they should have a dryer on each floor for swimsuits. The dinner was good those starters BBQ wings was amazing. I loved that it was something for all ages in the water area. And even a regular pool for when the park part closed down at 9p.Rooms: 5/5
Me and my family visited the water park and stayed in the hotel there for one day and one night. The rooms are nicely set up and clean. My complaint with the hotel is 1. Beds very uncomfortablely hard. No Continental breakfast. I have stayed in hotels all over the US and most of them for that price provide continental breakfast.. We heard a baby crying in the room next to us all night. The TV auto turned on for some random reason at 4:00 a.m. waking everyone in our room up, but we were already up because the walls are paper thin. You can hear people above you stomping and running around. Not sound proof at all. Now to the water park. 1. Overcrowded 2. Not enough things for big kids to do. It's more geared towards toddlers and kids from ages 5 to 10. 3. For the price, I was shocked to find that you have to bring your own towels. And if you're staying at the hotel, don't think about using your towels from the hotel for the water park. That's not accepted. 4. The side of the lazy river was slimy. I touched it and I was shocked that it had not been maintained and cleaned in enough time to get slimy.. Are overall experience with the hotel and water park was bad and I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with kids ages 11 and above. Or for anyone who wants to get some sleep. If I could give it all zero stars I would but that is not an option. I felt like we did not get much bang for her buck and the hotel for being almost $300 including the passes was not worth it.
Place was clean, staff & room were nice. Lots of fun things for kids putt putt would be nice to add by the park. The restaurants had great food but our only complaint was how long it took to get our drinks / food. It was obviously understaffed on a weekend even though the restaurant was only half full. The staff did their best.
WORST BED IN HISTORY. I’ve never slept so bad in my life. We are a military family. Trained to sleep in several odd places including outside. But these beds are hard and full of springs. I will never sleep or stay in this hotel again. Hallways are dirty. Pool is dirty, hot tub was brown and cloudy in the pool room. Kids are running on the floor above you all types of hours of the night making it impossible to sleep. Staff is rude. When you ask questions, they tell you “I don’t know” Instead of finding out for you. Lack of training for sure. Elevator only holds 4 people according to sign making it a longer wait! For the amount of money we paid, the room should have been a lot nicer. We would have been better off going elsewhere due to this. Water park isn’t as big as they make it seem! Stuff is overpriced for a low luxury experience. Gonna cost me to go the chiropractor and get a massage. No wonder why all the parents stayed in the sauna and big hot tub long periods of time! The restaurant by the arcade sat 2 other tables after us and they got their food before us. High priced food and it was not quality. Great wolf lodge is way better. All that money the casino is making, they need to do better!
I had not been through since the upgrades, and now there is a totally boss store in the lobby with every candy and confection and gizmo one could desire. There is a display of Mexican candy even, like chili dried pineapple slices. My room was charming, and the new arcade was so future forward with large scale, high tech classics reinterpreted. I appreciate the fancy vending machines in the halls to grab an energy drink or cola at 3 am. Mini fridge, coffee & microwave in room. There was a bathing suit clothes line feature you can dry your suit in room. Kids had a blast.
We arrived 8-25-23, room was gross. Left over rags from previous people were still hanging on our shower. When we got back to get settled in our room, the lovely neighbors blasted rap music so loud it shook our beds. Then proceeded to yell over the music. We were also put into the newer remodeled area, and disappointed is an understatement. The drain in the shower didn't even drain. For price you pay, it's incredibly frustrating to have this experience. Nobody has yet to call, they don't care to. Don't waste your money!!!
I read so many reviews before going and I knew I should have listened lol. I honestly would not recommend this water park. There just isn’t much to do. It looks nice until you get there and half of their attractions are closed down. Rock climbing closed, water basketball closed, acorn walk in water closed. All that was available was the “surfing”, lazy river, two slides, hot tub and the main kiddie area. Only one of the two slides is actually fun. The kiddie area IS WAY TOO COLD. I keep seeing everyone say this and the hotel is responding but acting like this isn’t an issue. They don’t seem to care. All those poor babies lips were blue and they were all shivering. We all left sick, it was terrible. The room was nice and clean but kind of smaller than expected. TV was super small and didn’t have anything to watch. Gift shop was pricey of course. The hotel’s restaurant never seemed to be open. I’m sure it wasn’t going to be worth it anyway. Half of the arcade games were out of order. Photo Booth was down the entire time until we were heading out. I watched a man press a couple buttons and take the “out of order” sign down. I guess it was an easy fix and they just didn’t want to do it. Seems like that about a lot of stuff in there. They charge too much and make too much money to not have it figured out. Very disappointing, this establishment has got to do better.
