Beginning of 2020 I had covid. I was hospitalized for 9 days had to have oxygen on most of the time I was there. The nurses and Drs were absolutely amazing to me and my family. Thank you to all involved in me getting better!
Spent 1 hour just trying to connect with scheduling. On hold for another 2 hours to speak with billing to no avail. Had to hang up to accomplish other tasks for the day. Needless to say that's 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back. Does anyone work in billing? Update: today Thursday January 19th. Called again, on hold for an hour only to be disconnected. I don't have internet for my chart and I do not put personal information on my phone for your app. I understand that my chart assists you a great deal but I prefer to speak to someone when I have issues with my bill. Any other great suggestions?
I moved here from Michigan almost a month ago and there is no comparison to the treatment my family is use to. I wouldn't step foot in this place ever again. I brought my child into the emergency department due to respiratory distress. Where I'm from, children are seen almost immediately when there are respiratory issues. There were four patients in the waiting area before I arrived. It took about a half hour to get checked-in, then an hour to be put in a room. The Nurse Practitioner finally arrives, checks out my kid, leaves for another 20-30 minutes and finally sends in the respiratory therapists with mask and medication... I am utterly appalled at the response time in this place. Don't go here if you are truly having an emergency, waiting on these people you might die.
Orders overlooked, lack of communication, and no one takes responsibility for the mistakes. Returned a phone call and was hung up on. Someone called my allergist and left a message to return their phone call but gave the doctor my number! They take longer than the government to follow up. Very poor patient care, especially from the patient advocate representative.
Went to Parkview for the infusion after being diagnosed with Covid in Aug 2021. Was told by person administering the infusion that no charges for the infusion due to being an experimental drug. 4 months later I get a $990 bill wanting paid for the infusion. Parkview is saying they didn’t send the bill so not their problem … now I’m getting billed a 2nd time for a fractured foot that I made all billed payments on for the exact same amt $990. Kinda crazy how 2 different things total exactly same amt. no one can give me any answers. I’m definitely going to question something that I feel is a mistake Think twice before walking into parkview
The nurses are AMAZING!!! But the Dr's don't do what they say, they are late 3 hours!!!! If you're going to extabate someone you don't make the patient and their family wait over 3 hours! Especially when you won't return the nurses calls!!! Especially in ICU!!!
I took my son there today, it was very unprofessional. I will be following up with the administration soon. we never sat down to talk with any doctor nor nurse to explain their finding, we never got any paperwork. all we got was a sticky note with the address and phone number from the guy that transported my son to another hospital in Indianapolis
I went to er for a severe migraine, light and sound sensitivity, nausea and vomiting. I was seen by Marcus PA. He ordered 2 injectibles and tylenol. I told the nurse it wasn't going to help. He had already discharged me before evaluating if the medication was goben. Charge nurse said there is nothing that can be done. So at 5:07 I walked out the door and now seeking help elsewhere!
Zero stars if possible. Social services treats individuals with no insurance & their family members as less than human. Discharged my father to the streets when he was unable to care for himself only for him to wind up back in ER after falling. Lacking in resources, empathy & respect across the board!!!
Worst care I have ever seen in my life! Said they would only treat my father's symptoms which was excruciating pain and then forgot to give him his pain meds. Never would answer the call button and my dad soiled himself. God help you if you end up there!
